I'm going to go out on a limb and say a different continent to Tamriel.

Sure, it's illogical what with all the prior building of the Elder Scrolls universe, but I'm feeling that all the other provinces of Tamriel could be majorly disappointing. Also, we'd get some new player races. Could be interesting.

What if The Emperor of Tamriel started some kind of conquest or crusade against a distant and newly discovered land, and the player gets caught up in the middle?

That way we have the continuity, the same races (at least on one side) and (again on one side) the religious and political background that they've built up.

It'll be Skyrim, they copyrighted the name two weeks after Oblivion came out.

I *want* it to be Elswyr, but I know it won't be.

REMAKE MORROWIND

The rest of the province would be quite cool, but damn, it was such an increadible experience i dont think they will ever do so well again. Oblivion was a good game, very good infact, but f**k me, morrowind was just so varied, such a great storyline, characters, ahh it was just amazing, only thing wrong with it is the obvious outdatedness of its playability system.

However, that not the case, id say Skyrim, Daggerfall (is that the redguard one?) or Sommerset island would be best

Although they wont, all of cyrodil would of course be ideal. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm one can dream though..........

What about Nirn, the planet? That would include Tamriel, Summerset Isle, Yokunda(in the sea actually) and all the other islands, incl. Akavir.

Cyrodil was supposed to be jungle. When the whole thing became generic forests (as pretty as they were it just had the effect of making the game so damn shallow, wasn't helped by all the other nonsense either)

The thing that made Morrowind interesting for me was the fact that the whole thing was quite alien to what our world looks like. I want to go back to that sense of being far away from Earth.

So really its whatever one is the most unique and far removed from Earth. Something where the architecture of every town doesn't look like generic renaissance model 1. And where you can make the dialogue a little different and unusual so its harder to spot how glaringly bad Bethesda is at writing story and dialogue(with a few exceptions).

This might interest you... :) (it's not finished yet though so don't get your hopes up too high).

EDIT: Oh wait sorry it's not a remake, it's set 6 years after Morrowind... my bad :(.

I'd like to see Akavir, depending on time period it would add the possibility of dragons.
The battle between the Tsaesci and the Ka Po'Tun? Since that would involve the only Dragon left in Tamriel I believe, that'd be quite cool. They'd have to flesh out so much lore though, due to there being scarce any to work with that is published. Seeing the Tsaesci would be cool though, since their appearance remains a mystery for the most part. The Ka Po'Tun would be very Khajiit like, just more resembling tigers, so I pressume a larger race. It'd be a much more intense game than the previous installments centralized around the war.

However I still really want to see the great city of Alinor in Summerset Isle, HD-fied. Its beauty would be something spoke of, in the gaming community, for along time if Bethesda did it right.
Don't forget the Kamal snow demons and the Tang Mo monkey folk.

The Capitol Wasteland. Oh wait, that's where they set the previous Elder Scrolls...

Sorry I just had top get that in there, I don't think FO3 and Oblivion are too similar ;)

I think I need a little light hearted sunny meadow action after so many mournful hours admiring the wasteland... so hopefully somewhere pretty with lots of trees
Sounds like your asking for ValenWOOD... its has that name for a reason, plenty of trees.
Is that an area from a previous ES?
No, but if you read a little bit on the lore, the places have background info. Valenwood is just one huge forest, basically.
Nice... could be a really cool setting... imagine exploring a Kahjiit city built high in the treetops...

I would have like it if they left the game in Cyrodiil.

Since i like the landscape of Cyrodiil, and i don't like the thought of going to a very (snowy
place?)

That's my thoughts.

How about if they gave you the option to go to almost every area in Elder Scrolls lore? That'd be pretty sweet.

The land of NON-SCALING ENEMIES sounds good to me. There's something messed up when you reach level 10 or 15 by just pick-pocketing, mercantile, speechcraft and the like, then getting your ass kicked by every random mob out there whenever you leave a town.

Easy, it would have to take place in.... THE ENTIRE WORLD!!! Once that came out, it would keep people playing till they die, are magically revived and then die again.
