We frankly didn't deserve to get through the group stage, let alone past Germany.

The main problem from an English person's point of view:
Our footballers are overpaid pansies who get injured every five minutes because they didn't get to swim in their pools of money. Seriously, look at all the current England players who are famous, then look at how many times they've been injured and how much they are paid. Yes, I understand that some portion of the injuries are genuine, but our squad needs to man up, learn how to play football, and listen to their bloody manager rather than throwing a fit every 0.5 seconds (I'm looking at you Rooney).

And for those of you who don't know, Germany won 4 - 1.

4 to 1 for Germany officially, but the referee missed a goal that pretty much everybody else - fans, commentators and so on - agree on.
I'd say it's actually 4 to 2.

Although having 2% more possesion, England still couldnt pull i together. I like Rooney as a player but, he just hasnt delivered, not scoring a single goal throughout the world cup. Oh well, better for you to stay in the EPL

Good job Germany, knew you could do it.

EDIT: That referree would be fearing for his reputation right now... or even his life... Rooney said something to the ref and winked at him after that bad call which shouldve been a goal.

As my dad just put it. It's world war 2 / 1 al over again. I forget which war, Im sure it doesnt matter.

I'm probably not going to watch this, though I predict a 1 - 1 draw.

It would probably be both as the Germans were the major "antagonist" while the English were viewed as the major "protagonist" for both wars.
