I sense a whole truckload of English bitterness in this thread.
44 years of hurt indeed.

Better luck in 2012 or 2014.

Germany won 4-1. It should have been 4-2 because the ball definately went over the line in germany's goal in the first half, but that still wouldn't have mafe a difference.
I'm glad you have the ability to look into the future and be so sure of your answers.

Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, Fuck. I want to complain about the disallowed goal, I really do, but Germany pure and simple, outclassed the tired English team. Fuck.

But they should've proven it fair and square.
How didn't they prove it "Fair and square"? It's not their fault the lines-man makes a mistake.

Makes what 10x worse?

The clear goal that wasn't given? I don't understand your point.
You seriously can't see the point? The fact that that decision has effectively cost them a clear chance at victory because it changed England's tactics.

Germany was the better team in the first half for around 30 minutes. They scored 2.
They weren't the better team - England's defence was just shocking...
They were, in my opinion, for the first 30min atleast. Defence is part of the team. If it's shocking your team ain't playing well. Germany's defence was also very wobbly from time to time, but not to the extent of England's for the first 30 minutes.

Lol, Germany were the better team, I'll happily admit that.

But this isn't the result that should have been, you cannot expect people to not be bitter over a decision such as that.

4-2

I've seen worse scores, I suppose.
Yup, that's how it should've been. That thing was in. (I'm german btw) gg to england.
Heh, their whole team knew it was I reckon. I still don't understand why FIFA have denied the use of goalline technology. It's ridiculous =/

I am not saying Germany is at fault.
Your team is awesome and Muller is the man.
I must have said it wrong.
What I meant is "Germany should've had the opportunity to prove they are a better team in the game without atrocious game-changing mistakes".
On a side note, is that Zero Mostel in your avatar?

Germany were more composed, more disciplined and more talented.

England were 11 millionaires strolling around thinking about thier clubs and cheating with eachother's girlfriends.

Better team won.
This.

England were fucking useless. Embarrassing and amateur.

While our defence was dire, the goals and near goals show that we could have played and done far better. Every now and then the team would just gel together and work.

I put it down to the fact they don't train together like, ever. They're so much better in their premier league teams because that's who they train with =/

Paul the Octopus said you'd lose, and he was right.

Fuck Ghana, they played like girls (however, they were good, but when you have to foul/act/fall over by an opponent breathing inside 5 ft of you...)

Ok, so because England played bad for 30 minutes they deserved to have a goal disallowed? Get real.

Germany played awful for the last 15 minutes of the first half, their defence was in tatters and England scored 2 goals, there is no way in hell you can try and justify that decision based on the fact you think England played bad for the first 30 minutes.

True that, but people should try to take the defeat with a little class, no?

Nice avatar by the way.

Yes, and the anger is not with the Germans, it's with the officials and FIFA, the passion that English fans have is obviously going to get out of line at times, but that's to be expected.

Whatever people post about Germany being the better team (Very true), the game is totally different at 2-2. It is a decision and an image which FIFA and the world will be seeing for weeks.
