So you are pushy, how did you not understand that before.TheNamlessGuy said:Not just him, practically anyone who sees it.
Or asking loads of people once.TheNamlessGuy said:That's not being pushy.
Being pushy is when you ask the same person over and over.
And that's totally not because of my mind control, I promise.
I've always wondered, who was the first non-staff member on the fourms. Sort of like, Memeber Alpha, the first of all who roam here.Labyrinth said:Snip.
you flexxed out of them after you did a souplex.Souplex said:Where are my pants? That is the greatest mystery of all.
Don't you mean nam?TheNamlessGuy said:Oh, Hub, you disappoint me...Hubilub said:now there will never be any knew hats.
New question:
Why do people tend to spell my name wrong?
I don't get how giving a score downgrades the review. As long as they still give the same reviews, all that the review score does is supplement the review. It doesn't make a difference, in my opinion.Diagonal Horizontality said:As for further mysteries,
Why has The Escapist started using review scores? I read the [a href=http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/7148-Why-Were-Using-Review-Scores]official editorial[/a], but that explanation was just a load of PR non-sense about "industry standards". The Escapist prides itself on striving to be ahead of the rest of the gaming media, so why downgrade content for the sake of attracting an audience already more than catered to by GameSpot and the like?
Maybe, after already using up the allowed name change, he asked the mods reaaally nicely if he could have another, so they let him change it again.Fire Daemon said:There's this guy, right, who's title rather than being related to his post count or awesome deeds is 'The Man So Nice they Named him Twice'. Now as far I can tell he has always had that title and once I (along with many others no doubt) PM'd him about and he said that he didn't know why he had it. I asked one of the staff and they said it would be better to not ask any questions... I was afraid. Why was he so nice and why did they name him twice? will they come to name me twice next? is anyone safe? Hold me.
Giving the review scores made them less of a legitimate magazine to me. The score is meaningless, as the game will be different for each person, and they will give it a different value, hence it is totally biased. Anyways why do people need someone else to tell them what is good, shouldn't they figure it out on their own? As Yahtzee said "Do you really need someone in authority giving you a simple yeay or nay before you buy anything? Why don't you roll over so they can stamp on the other side of your face"TheRocketeer said:I think they just thought to themselves "OH MY GOD WE AREN'T A REAL MAGAZINE" and thought giving review scores were a cheap way to grant themselves some kind of legitimacy as a review source.Diagonal Horizontality said:Why has The Escapist started using review scores? I suppose that mystery would be: what goes on in the editors' head boxes?
Because most people don't have endless income to spend on bad games.daheikmeister said:Anyways why do people need someone else to tell them what is good, shouldn't they figure it out on their own?
