Before I start typing, can I know exactly where we are? Don't want to spin a random tail.

There's a rainstorm outside, with lightning.

-Piggy is in a medical bed writing on a tablet, sending coded messages.
-Rev is in a medical bed about to be fucked by Addi-15, but Piggy's interrupting it, trying to talk to him about sneaking into the facility and seeing what's on Owen's computer.
-The other pilots are in their bays, receiving the message.
-Dr. Laurence Owen is talking to Seele (timeline might not match up, as this is earlier than what Piggy was doing.)
-David Ashford is following Owen down to the place Seele uses for communication. If he knows about Seele (likely given his rank), he will join in the conversation. If not, he will join the conversation and then probably be shot later that night.
-Ohotorael is in space, creating a body for itself.
-Naatiel is in space, creating a body for itself.

My thought was to reply and begin forming plans, then fast forward to later when everyone's up and running. A meeting space where they won't be watched. Ice cream shop?

Bio/History: When Aiber was born as the son of an American national guard Colonel, he was admitted to the Neo-Spartan program as soon as he came of age. He was subjected to harsh tests and training and he ended up secluding himself whenever he could get away. His only real friend was his Eva, which he began calling Charles, after the main character of a book he read. His isolation from other people in general and his age especially, coupled with the constant merging and experimenting with Charlie led to the boy and the monster having an odd kind of bond. Sadly though, Rez became depressed and the only time anyone ever saw him was when he was in training. Eventually his mental health became a concern so a security camera was installed in his room. The very next day he pulled out a hand-gun in plain view of the camera. His ?Handler?, a man named Issac Brown, came to talk him down so the security guards wouldn?t have to detain him. The moment Issac came in the room; Rez took him hostage and attempted to escape. A few minutes later he was tazed and detained.

He was labeled un-fit for service and taken out of the program, just like he had planned. All the time he was in his room he was thinking of ways to be free, and he had done it. Then his dad used his connections to ensure that nothing further was done to his son (mainly to avoid the public exposure of driving a kid to hostage taking). However, when it came to the Eva?s, Rez?s future was not over. Nerve was looking for recruits and due to certain circumstance (partially involving the ?Aiber Incident?) none of their children were ready; so they handed over Rez to easy their problems, when really, they were giving up one of their smartest pilots.

I'm not sure I understood- He was washed out the neospartans for attacking a Nerv employee, but was assigned an Eva regardless?

He wasn't in Nerv yet, it was a pre-pilot training program being carried out by preforming prototype Eva testing, killing two birds with one stone, and it was being run by the American National Guard But then Rez and Charlie bonded and he became as good as a Nerv pilot but then he staged the incident to get himself out, but instead they just "tossed the hot potato" to Nerv.

What strikes me is that you describe it as if his father wanted him to be in the neospartan program. Normally parents don't want to see their 16-year-olds plugged into 50 story monsters and being sent to fight when the Angels come a knockin. This opens an interesting dynamic- The father's motivation: training his child to be a savior of humanity out of pride, obligation, an attempt to undo the past, or have vicarious victories against the Angels.

I feel like there's a story I'm not seeing. In the meantime, your character is approved.
My only complaint is that "Rez" and "Rev" sound almost identical, So I'll refer to him as Blake instead.

I changed all instances of Rez to Aiber (Eye-burr) , but I have a question.

You say you only have 2 angels left in mind, so am I basically showing up just in time to not contribute much? Because if that's the case then Im sorry and that's a dang shame.

And the idea behind his dad is that the Blakes have a history of being prestigious military officers, and his dad saw the Eva program as a chance to take it to the next level. That is why I note that he covered up the fake insanity ploy to escape bad press rather than Aiber's well being, he cares more about his son's image and future more than he cares about his actual son.

Could I get some more definition on what exactly happened between the hospital and now? Should I write it up myself and just get approval? I just don't want to derail anything.

Well, Asp just sorta jumped kicked us ahead, out of nowhere. I adapted.

I was gonna put something about Alexander deciding to go back to the hospital and check you guys out, finding you after your confrontation with Addison-15, making some bullshit excuse so Lisa doesn't figure out what we're up too, getting the doctors to fix you up with an excuse like, "he tripped", and then sneaking away to the shop to see what Piggy was up to. Do as you wish with said info. Plus, Rev is probably still pissed about Piggy cock blocking him and your situation with Addison-15. Does she leave or stay. Your choice. I'll adapt, Asc will probably adapt, etc.

It'll work out.

I was trying to maintain a pace so that everyone could be involved and people aren't just waiting. I'll look to engage the new pilots.

ZapperX, I haven't forgotten about you, I'm just trying to settle this plot point first. When they sneak into the laptop, you'll be informed of everything they find and then have free reign, which is why I wanted to get to that scenario. Set a plan and get the data, hopefully that same night.

As for what happened from the medical center, Addison-15 had a negative reaction to the whole thing and just needs time to process her own thoughts and feelings.

6 pilots now, and 2 support characters. I would prefer another Nerv officer, but will reconsider only if the pilot is particularly well-written and their presence is justifiable.

In my defense, I blame miscommunication for introducing said assassin this early. I interpreted Asclepion's posts in a way that led me to believe that SEELE would be gunning for my ass without hesitation ("You really have a death wish", "If not, he will join the conversation and then probably be shot later that night."); my mistake, evidently.

Just to clarify, Aiber doesn't actually think is dad wants to hurt him, he just wanted to piss his dad off by having him arrested, he knew it wouldn't stick and it might not even work, but he was just angry and liked the idea of having him arrested.

Also, I like the Ender's Game references between the IA guys (which funny enough is similar to IF).
