wasn't working. After checking out some walkthroughs, I finally learned that I needed to try and grab an easily missed key behind some bars (which was kicked away by a little girl) which somehow triggered a bunch of events including the clock actually moving when I changed it to the right time. It just made no sense.
Wow, you can't see a glittery thing that the camera ACTUALLY SWITCHES POSITIONS SO YOU CAN SEE IT?!?!?!?!

Jeez, You must hate Monkey Island/Discworld.

Alright, I hated Oblivion for the stupid leveling; there is no point in getting stronger if the rest of the world got stronger with you. Also, there is a point where you really can't sell much of anything because nobody has the money.

However, I still played it a lot, and I intend to one day go and beat it after doing a ton of those side quests. I got a mod that tones down the leveling a lot so rather than every creature always being 5 levels higher than me they're 5 levels lower and they increase 1 level for every 2 or 3 times I level up.

World of Warcrap, or really anything made by Blizzard.

Let me start by saying that StarCraft and Warcraft standalone were great games. However, I don't like them because of the simple fact that they aren't really inventive. Blizzard only has two series of games- Diablo and Warcraft.

Diablo II and the expansion are obviously continuations of Diablo.
All Warcraft expansions are continuations of Warcraft.
StarCraft is Warcraft in space.
World of Warcrap is Warcraft where you can only control one character instead of an army (and is Diablo, but with Warcraft's storyline and world).

And I just found out earlier today that Diablo isn't even a Blizzard invention. Blizzard refuses to tread new ground or come up with anything creative or innovative. You can say they keep pumping out good games all you want, but if you ask me that's like someone stuffing your face with the same Subway sandwich over and over. It's damn good, but it's no different than the last one.

The closest thing they came to treading new ground is StarCraft: Ghost. However, not only was this game delayed until "never", it also followed the same world as a previous game. Also, the only games they're planning to release are a third in the StarCraft series and a fourth in the Diablo series.

Whoopty-doo!

At last I am not alone...
I have trouble liking any of Final Fantasy games, let alone any other turn-based games, but my friends act like they are the second coming of Jesus in (multiple) disk form...
I fail to see why final fantasy is so great...

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas...it goes on and on and on...
The whole RPG element was very "WTF"...
I ended up trying to CJ a heart attack, instead he threw up afterevery third meal...
And that goddam uzi, with the irratating Pop POp POP! Was Rockstar trying to make a joke involving Popping and Asses?

Oblivion the first 3 or 4 hours of gameplay I thought this would end up my favourite game...
Very fun, "conciequences(?)" and breaking, entering, stealing and leaving (unless Im bored then its murder)...
But then it just flatlined, "haven't i done something like this before? Haven't I done this before?"...

Wait for it....Halo 3
Yes the ultimate blasphemy for a Xbox360 fan but still...
The movement looks like Im trekking trough mud...
The guns are really pathetic like the San Andreas uzi, (other than the Spartan Laser thing)..
Multiplayer is hellish...
Try to play my friends and talk to them but some 13 year yells Racial Slurs and Homophobic taunts done the line when he kills someone...

Not a game but...The Nintendo Wii
Before the 360 I had myself a Wii...
What a waste of £180...
Only good game was Red Steel but it was too repetitive...
I was originally a fan of Nintendo, GameCube, N64, Snes, NES and the Gameboy but...
The Wii just feels like it was made by a completely different company and I dont know why...

Every sports game made in the history of forever. All of my friends own at least one, and I would rather watch my House DVD collection be burned in front of me then play a sports game.

If you want to play basketball, then go buy a damn basketball! It's cheaper then NBA 200X I can promise you that. Go find an empty parking lot and have fun. Heck, some schools even have real basketball hoops. It's at least a quantum leap more fun then any videogame ever. Same goes for all the other sports. You wanna play it, go out and play it.

Racing games. Whee! I'm driving! With the only exception of Mario Kart: Double Dash, I loathe racing games almost as much as sports games. My friends love them. Oi vei.

I agree. I'm actually a little disappointed in the Wii for a lot of reasons. The only good games I know of for that console are WarioWare and No More Heroes. I wouldn't even consider Brawl a good game. It's honestly just a watered-down Melee.

That reminds me- Brawl. Why didn't I think of that before. How can people like that game? It has better controls, but now the game literally picks and chooses who wins. If you're really fast and skillful at the game, you trip and fall on your ass, or an explosive item will pop right in front of you as you're trying to kill your opponent. It also seems like percentages play a smaller bit. Lots of times you can KO a guy at less than 20%, but there's sometimes that you can't even when he's at 200% using the same attack. It literally just picks who wins matches most of the time.

Smash Brothers, any of them.

Legend of Zelda after the one for Nintendo... Ah fuck it. Pretty much Nintendo in general after I got my Sega. Then Sonic got old fast. Nintendo won't be seeing my business again in this lifetime.

Halo series... Honestly wasn't fun beyond a couple missions. I had way WAY more fun with Timesplitters series.

Oblivion I liked but I share the sentiments on the combat and generic feel of it. I only really liked working for the Assassin Guild.

Kingdom Hearts can die in a corner sobbing alone.

Final Fantasy series can do the same while consuming laxative.

Disgaea was fun for me but the Majin class did make everything else obsolete if you wanted perfection. And the monster attributes weren't properly accounted for so you didn't know what attack needed Intelligence instead of Attack. However, the leveling issue wasn't a problem for me as I figured out the leveling issue and went with it before it became a problem.

Disgaea 2 was more fun but the Majin class still edges that line of making your others obsolete yet you manage to need other characters. Still, edging that line annoys me.

I am sure I am missing something. Oh, I am curious about Portal but I don't expect to give up limbs for it. I feel the same way about Half Life.

Your not alone, at least I agree with you on the Halo series. Then again though, I feel like enough has ben said about the love/hatred of Halo and we should stop talking about it before they decide that they need to make more.
FFVII, I would also agree. I think it's still playable, but the story is complicated but shallow, and gameplay isn't as impressive as the previous FF's, but to me it's better than FFIIX and X.
Psychonauts I don't know, I haven't played it yet. I'll admit that I felt like giving it a try after watching zero punctuation though,

Final Fantasy series. I love a great story and all, but I've always felt the gameplay was lacking.

Half-Life and Halo series. I certainly like and enjoy them to an extent, but I have never considered them the masterpieces many would have you believe.

Almost forgot: The Zelda series. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I just can't get any enjoyment out of them.

FPS, well ones that are future based, but with no future weapons.Still relying on pistol, shotgun, rifle, flamethower, grenade launcher, and sniper rifle.

GTA4, they give you a cellphone so you can play nice between bouts of carjacking and random killing?

FolkLore had an awesome premise, cept i couldn't play with anyone around for fear of smacking them in the head while using the six-axis controls of pulling out souls.Plus the two charecters play the same story line.exciting!

lol, that is pretty weird, actually. "We have teleportation technology, but we still use a pistol and shotgun." I hate FPS games with overpowered sniper rifles. They should be long-ranged, not more powerful than other weapons. Either you get one-shot killed or you don't get one-shot killed at all. I'm looking at you, Renegade.

Final Fantasy Seven was not amazing. It was not a gift from the gaming gods, nor did it descend from the heavens to pull us out of the primeval sludge of bad games. It was boring, had uninteresting characters with stupid, pointy hair cuts, and ridiculously long swords.

Metal Gear Solid is bareable, at best. I could force myself to play through the games (except for 4, since I don't own a PS3, nor will I ever, and neither do any of my friends) and every now and again enjoy some of the cool action cinematics. But, c'mon! The story made absolutely no sense! (Yes, I know 4 is supposed to wrap things up nicely, but I don't have any chance of playing it right now, shut up) I hated the fanboys of the game. You know, the ones who thought they were some kind of Uber-gamer because they believed they actually knew what the hell the La-le-loo-le-low(or whatever)was, or every other stupid plot device in the game.

I do disagree with TheIceface on Psychonauts, though. I was one of the disappointingly small group of people who actually went out and bought the game right when it came out. It has, by no means, the best controls in a video-game. But the game was so damn imaginative and fun, and the story was absolutely hilarious! I mean, just look at the level design. Few games I have played have been this wacky and off the wall while still being an engaging and fun game. If you even think you like action platformer games, go buy Psychonauts. Seriously. Now. I'm sure you can find it for under $15 at a Game-Stop or something.

Halo 2 and 3 were big disappointments to me. I liked the first one, but when they started adding in some convoluted story involving old men in floating wheelchairs and taking away fun things like Blood Gulch, sniper pistols, and Elites as enemies, I lost all enthusiasm for the series. Also not a big fan of GTA IV, they all but completely removed customization, recycled an old smaller city, and took out virtually all the fun and wacky environments and characters so that they could replace them with "gritty" and "realistic" one. I want another jetpack.

Erm...

To whoever thought Napoleon Dynamite was boring: THANK GOD! I thought I was the only one!

To the guy who thought Patrick Stewart was the only good thing in Oblivion: You do realise that the Nord women are voiced by Lynda (Wonder Woman) Carter?

To Star Wars Guy: I can never understand how the irritating little snot-jedi is tolerated, even loved, while Jar Jar and the Ewoks get trashed. Lack of perspective much? I mean, if we're going to kill off Jar Jar, let's decapitate Yoda as well. Please.

I didn't like Resident Evil games. I thought the actual gameplay wasn't all that attractive, and the dialouge was horrible.

I also hate about 9/10 of all FPS games.
