Once again begins Mr. Molyneux's infamous hype.

And, once again, I'll believe every second of it.

Indeed! Damn him. Although the Fable games are enjoyable, Petey just massively overhypes them to be 'THE NEXT BIG THING!'

From what I heard, this'll be the last Fable..? I presume afterwards, they'll work on their creepy Natal demon-child?

That is a seriously misquoted Bohemian Rhapsody you have there. :)

Apparantly you will have a realistically nag-tastic spouse and children.... oh joy...

"What promises are you going to make to become ruler, and then how many of those promises are you going to keep?" asked Molyneux

Coming from Molyneaux, this made me laugh.

I doubt they'll make it any longer or harder (there's something I hoped I'd never say) than the previous two so I'm not really interested. Doubtless it will feature a million false promises and the remains of Molyneux's shattered dreams, similar to the first 2.

If only this was the question he could ask himself.

I swear right now I will not give into the hype. I played Fable one and thought it was okay at best, but still ended up buying Fable 2 to complete disappointment. It was short and extremely repetitive, with your character looking either really fat or anorexic, and no good looking clothes, and a tiny variety of weapons. I will rent this at most.

Well apparently unlike the rest of you I actually liked both Fable games so far so there. Aside from that though I had a feeling that this is roughly the era that it would be set in.

I think Peter Molyneux will, once again, feed us with empty promises.
Molyneux is a scam artist.

Boring era + sequel to god-awful game? No thanks. Fable 1 was great, Fable 2 was junk.

Meh, I think everyone knew it would happen really, it's their main series, why would they drop it at number 2...
I'll buy it, if only to see if they've made the 'evil' side look any cooler.

Yay! Though I was hoping for an A DK3, I don't mind another Fable. No doubt a lot will go searching for Molyneux hype, but not me. For I have my finger in my ears and am typing with my nose.

Haha, this made my day, loved Fable I, Fable II was still fun despite it's flaws and I still love to go back to it today, Fable III should learn from it's mistakes... but there in lies the problem with all sequels.

Well, the promises are a little low-key this time, so they'll probably come to fruition.

Maybe.

Hopefully?

So its going along in time eh? So if Fable 4 or 5 doesnt allow you machine guns and RPG's. I will be seriously dissapointed...
An RPG in an RPG... are you trying to be funny?

The trailer just makes me wonder, why the age of Napoleon?! Why a power struggle?! Is that annoying ***** Theresa God or something?! What arbitrary tragedy will inspire us to forcibly kill our way through everyone?

Hey, here's an idea, Molyneux, how about this time, the tragedy is THE MAIN CHARACTER DIES.

No PC version?

Came here to ask this.

I haven't been following Fable II all that closely but has there ever been confirmation either way that a PC version will or will not be released?
