I haven't played wither of them. I'm planning on playing fable 2 sometime this year, so lets hope this game is good
So basically you want it to be WoW?hazabaza1 said:Hmm, true. Okay maybe a large improvement. I found Fable 2 to be fun, so even a slight improvement would be good.
Anyway, I'm pretty excited, a proper free roaming world would be nice, I really hated the loading screens.
A larger, more open world
More spells
Revamped combat system (I.E. Fable 1 magic, dodging and enemies standing a chance)
More customization
A better economy system
Monsters dropping money, or you get more from questing (Please lord)
A deeper, more immersive moral choice thing.
Different looking weapons, and more weapon types
And I think that just about covers it.
If only my friend.stormcaller said:I'd have preferred to play in the Old Kingdom but whatever.
You know what would be cool and totally not happen? The heroes from the first two games showing up to help you somewhere along the line, it can determine who they are and what they did based on the way you play Fable 3, ex: Bad King = Someone who took wealth and someone who took the sword.
ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN!

Think about it, in this game you start off as a nobody and overthrow the king, becoming the new king. The rest of the game seems to be based off the choices you make and whether you live up to the reputation of the new amazing king that will give albion a golden age.woem said:And I really have a hard time to link the countdown campaign of "revolutionaries" to this game.
God, no. I mean, you're actually interacting, like you press the dodge, you dodge. None of this one button press combat and monotonous grinding, thank you very much.Sparrow Tag said:So basically you want it to be WoW?hazabaza1 said:Hmm, true. Okay maybe a large improvement. Just no.
Yeah sorry I did mean jonathan ross, I couldn't remember who it was and then I went with stephen fry for some reason.Jalugi said:Stephen Fry played Reaver in the second one are you mistaking him for Jonathan Ross? However if experience is to be believed it will be fable 2 slightly updated with a 3 on it. I've known about this for a while, it was in the news that stephen fry let slip on his twitter he was doing the voice acting for it .
If they're both doing voices in the game then I may look into this one and write fable 2 off as a slight hiccup.
Please god Molyneux get rid of the dog if you're going to have a pet companion have something interesting like a Parrot, Red Panda or a bloody Manbearpig.
