It sure helped with my athletes foot though. =D

Oh, and I really didnt like how you could only eat celery to lose weight!!! Also the fact that when you get max toughness and strnght it looks like you have a breeze block strapped to your chin!
So I'm not the only one who thought that jaw-line was a bit ridiculous? With the dlc there are potions to lose weight, much easier.

I want to say that its Peter's fault for hyping his games so much, but isn't it the people's fault for actually believing them? Did no one learn anything from Fable 1?
My ramblings aside... I thought Fable 2 was pretty good.

I didn't believe any of the hype, and expected the game to suck.
So when I played it I was having fun.

I also liked the art design and all the color, which seems to be missing in games these days.

Plus, I also loved the humor they put in. The descriptions on all the items usually made me laugh.

I was hoping it'd come to PC but it never did.
Fable: TLC came to computer around 2 years after Fable was released. Give it time.

Naw, you can inject some steroids directly into your mucscles to pump them up, so get your facts right before you start criticising others please.
Well bearing in mind these are homeless orphans I doubt they will be able to inject themselves with steroids, most likely they will take them in solid form.

Yeahh, obviously. Cuz ya know, you are not just trying to have the world's most pathetic argument with me just to build your ego whilst making yourself out to look stupid. Report and move on.

Hilarious, not only do you have no rebuffle, you seem to accept my point as plausible before claiming I am making myself look stupid. Kind of oxymoronic don't you think?

I also must pass judgment on your pathetic "Report and move on" comment, especially seeing as I have only ever been barred from posting once, and it was for something far worse than disagreeing with your flawed argument. Effectively, the fact this comment breaks no rules, in fact if anything by posting such a request you yourself are "making yourself out to look stupid" (poorly worded may I add).

No, I just think you are causing a ridiculous argument.

I enjoyed it. It's worth a playthrough, bud I'd recommend Mass Effect over this.

Emphasizing this is just -my- opinion, you and anyone else may think differently:

Cons
1. Characters were so unlikable that I ended up hating most of them (especially Reaver), and the ones I liked were pretty much all killed.
2. *spoilers* very annoyed at the story when I found out you were being used by Theresa.
3. No incentive to be evil whatsoever; worse economy, nagging moralistic script, no perks
4. Ugly character models
Pros
1. Fun combat

I enjoyed Fable II a lot, but I have a good couple gripes with the game as well.

The character customization was half assed, and even if you could get an appearance that you liked, the character would always have this stupid look on their face, or walk and run like they had something jammed in an uncomfortable place, and this kinda broke the vision of badassness I would have very much liked my character to have.

The story made me want to wretch. Too many plot holes and the ending left me terribly unsatisfied. We can only hope that the ending will somehow find a saving grace in Fable III by way of continuation. Still, unsatisfying in every sense of the word. By god, at least let me lay Reaver out before I leave.

Doing extra things in game were largely very pointless. Getting married, having kids, the sex you'll inevitably have just to see what happens, it's all largely irrelevent and inconsequential. To quote Yahtzee "You can! But why would you want to?".

Aside from all this though, as I said, I had a really great time with Fable II. In fact, I played it obsessively for when I played it, and I'll probably play it through again. The combat was fun and well enough done, I enjoyed making my character to a degree and I found it fun to shoot bandits in the groin. So, through all it's flaws, I still quite enjoyed the game.

Now, if only Lionhead would get off their asses and make another Black and White before developing Fable III.

I can't believe all the negativity. I loved the game. There was one weird thing that kept happening to me though. For no reason, my guy kept on getting fat even though I wasn't eating anything fattening. Pissed me off because I had to keep buying the thinning potions.

Hero: *Tries to hit kid with sword*

Kid: "Haha! I am immune to swords!"
Nice summary CT, however I quote you here because this precise moment led to wanton genocide on my part. I was doing the inane blacksmith game and for some reason a little girl kept watching me, screaming about I was evil, yet awesome and going on about bloody nothing. I finally lost it and shot her... only to realize you cannot kill children in this game; the guards came, the guards died because to hell with their fine and I opted to slaughter half the town and the guards for about an hour to satisfy my previous annoyance over that little girl screaming.

About the time I opted to go evil for the game.

I should also elaborate more on the later irritation for the dog. I find him useful and awesome for a majority of the game however it became apparent that he was going to tick me off fairly often when he does absolutely nothing for combat except get injured, barks for treasure while I am fighting repeatedly and whine/bark for no actual reason.

My other gripes with the game to add to my list

- I suppose you could lock this under customization however the rush job to include very poorly designed female models (IE: Touch strength in any way and she looks like Chyna or is extremely fat)
- Hammer... oh god Hammer, why couldn't I kill her? Why?! So poor characters, if you had not guessed.
- Ugly character design overall, why do I have to have horns, gray skin and blue lines because I am an evil magic user? In Jade Empire I could make Lucifer himself cry from my evil and looked no different, beyond a cool red aura if you did not press any buttons for a while. Stereotypical fairy tale evil appeared =/= Cool. Customize your own evil appearance = Cool

If this game allowed character customization like say Soul Calibur, it would immediate have an epic portion to it, even a Mass Effort custom system is at least something. All I will say is Peter has effectively sold me on never purchasing another title he pollutes with his name.

Yes Fable is fun as I noted but not for the price and frankly if Peter had shut his mouth, it would not have been much of an issue. His constant promises of the moon is why he is so hated in the gaming world and why Fable II will go down as one of the most overrated games on the 360.

I thought it failed badly on the "you can be good or evil" thing. Playing as good the game would screw you over and over and over, and playing as evil would give you the world but you still ended up doing good things to beat the game. Things like eating meat would give you evil points and vegetables would give good points was just blah

Character customization was handled too poorly in that increasing stats that you wanted would alter the look of you character in a way you didn't want. For example a strong female ends up looking really fat. Like an obese body builder
eating meat vs toju gave corruption/purity points, not evil/good.

the game did suck though.

I personally loved it... However I was already bracing myself BEFORE Molyneux overhyped Fable II to the status of Godliness... I knew it wasn't going to be as amazing as he said. Was it still a great game? Hell yes. I think so.
