You can aim down the iron sights? Oh man, this game just keeps getting better and better. I mean, they had me at "concealable cut-throat razor", but now I'm just getting unbearably excited.
Yeah I'm pretty sure I have seen that somewhere on the internet.

It does seem a bit stupid not to use them, also it would make the shooting aspect off fallout MUCH better.

Concealable cut throat razor?? :O
Not heard that one yet? Is it some sort of Assassins creed kinda shit?

I want the original Fallout atmosphere to return. Fallout 3 greenish-trashy backround was boring and uninteresting.

Also real life firearms such as AK-47, MP5 e.t.c.
Yeah Pancor Jackhammers, they were great in the early games

Iron sights, more Gas Masks, Stalker style outfits and severance style, cut off their limb and beat them to death with it.

Well, if this is going to be in Las Vegas, itll be in a desert. So, theres going to be a whole lot of rocks and sand. If you consider that to be less boring and uninteresting than a lot of destroyed buildings, then sure. I for one dont see what was so wrong about the D.C. setting.

And it was my understanding that certain firearms dont exist in the Fallout Universe. Most of the tech is a mix between 1950s family values that adds to the humor and future tech such as the robots and laser rifles.
Have you played the previous fallout games? They were too set in a desert (wasteland whatever) but the atmosphere was a lot better and more stressing and threatening somewhat like the pit dlc, and also had somewhat more realistic weapons. I'm not for banning ridiculous energy weapons such as laser rifles but I want to see more realistic small guns such as those in Fallout: Tactics.
Thats exactly my point. In my personal opinion, I dont see how a bunch of desert tileset setting is in any way less boring than destroyed cities, deserts, and caves. At least with Fallout 3 theres something to look at. May not be pretty but its not sand.

Also, I never played Fallout: Tactics but from what I read about it, Fallout: Tactics does not follow the Fallout canon at all and shouldnt be taken seriously.

Clever writing, a good continuation from Fallout 1/2's West Coast/NCR story, the strong gameplay that Fallout 3 brought to the table, and a relatively bug-free release (I get it, PC games get patched, but at least have the damn thing playable). I'm one of those people who doesn't mind a fuckton of DLC, either, so by all means, bring it on, make it good (like Broken Steel/Point Lookout good), and I'll buy it.

I only want one thing. Higher control sensitivity available. I know that it's an RPG and not a shooter, but I really hate having to wait 4 seconds to do a complete circle. I need my crazy high sensitivity!

The game will center around the NCR and the like. I heard Nightkin will be back as well. I hope it continues to expand with the 1st and 2nd game. I want a Deathclaw ally again! I hope they have the energy weapons from the 1st game. The plasma rifle and laser guns in the 3rd were terrible. Small guns were better than the plasma rifle!? The best weapon in fallout 1 next to the Alien pistol was a turbo plasma rifle. Turbo Plasma + critical shot to groin = awesome.

As I am reading up on Fallout 1 and 2 I would like to see more references to the first two games, and have the Master come back in some way, or something
As interesting as the Master was, it's also nigh impossible for him to survive being repeatedly shot by you and then a nuclear explosion set off to destroy his base. He doesn't even have legs to escape with.

Things I would like to see:
The return of eye shots as the most difficult and most rewarding Vats target.
The Highwayman. Make fast travel impossible before the player acquires one so that fast travel makes sense for once.
I would like radiation to be a serious threat instead of a minor irritation.
Well the Master COULD come back, in the history of fictional video game/comic characters, people have come back from worse, be it soul possession or traces of DNA in the F.E.V

also whats "The Highwayman?"

I only really want one thing: To have this game be as moddable for the PC as Fallout 3 was. Better yet, to be able to have some of the mods I have for Fallout 3 be able to be transferrable over to Fallout: New Vegas as well. That was, I could find myself being able to play this game as constantly and endlessly as I have found Fallout 3 to be.

Oh, I agree with you there; Iron sights will make shooting an awful lot more fun.

Nah, the razor is just a standard cut-throat razor, but it's one of the few weapons you can sneak past the casino guards. Hence "concealable".
