Favorite 1st Generation of Pokemon.

Everytime I started a file in Pokemon, there were always two pokemon that I could never be without - Gyrados and Alakazam. Gyrados took a lot of effort to aquire, but he some sort of hybrid Water Snake-Dragon, which is so fucking awesome that it boggles the mind. As for Alakazam, he was such a badass that he carried TWO spoons. Remember the little kid from The Matrix who told Neo "there is no spoon" - that would have been the perfect cue for Alakazam to walk in and beat them both over the head.... with his TWO FUCKING SPOONS.

The thing I don't like about all the new pokémon is how all the early ones are just clones of the first one.

Red Blue and Yellow had Pidgey and Ratata
Gold and Silver had Sentret and Hoothoot (I think)
Ruby and Saphire had Zigzagoon and some other random bird thing.

I just didn't see the point in thinking up a new small bird and small rodent to fill out the first few grass patches of the game.

EDIT: My favourite 1st gen pokémon was Magikarp.

Aaaah I donno, I loved them all! Especially the little cutesy cat/rodent things, like Pikachu and Mew. The starter Pokemon were fun though too. And the three legendary birds... and Mewtwo was just awesome... But I love Magikarp because he's so utterly useless, then utterly unstoppable once he evolves...

... I can't choose. ;-;

Then choose all. It's hard to pick one right? They're all soo good.
