You do have a point there, I suppose. But I think Tak would have gotten more points had the show been allowed to continue: the very few story points Invader Zim actually expanded on would have made for very interesting stuff later on, but it was canceled... I hate Nick, just for that. Well, that and the fact that they made Spongebob, the archenemy of intelligence.Lord Krunk said:Well, I would agree to that. Although Zim has a bigger kill count (of his own side) after Operation Impending Doom 1...Thaius said:True enough, Zim gets a shout-out for being awesome (as well as one of the very, very few good Nick shows as of late). That is an amazing show, for sure, but Zim's reasons for being a great villain are different from those of Azula: Zim is more for comedic effect, obviously, whereas Azula is pretty much Satanspawn. Zim is great, but I'd personally have to put Azula first. Avatar is my favorite show, after all...Lord Krunk said:Yeah, although I'm amazed that you didn't mention the titular character from which your avatar is borne.Thaius said:Azula. For sure.

Not sure if it counts, considering the main audience is teens and college students, but Avatar: The Last Airbender is an animated kid show, so it should count. And Azula is one of the best villains ever: awesomely powerful, smooth, agile, manipulative, and just plain evil. And dang, her voice was so perfect for the part. Her introduction marked the beginning of a much more mature show.
If you haven't seen Avatar: The Last Airbender, start at the beginning and enjoy that masterful fantasy epic.

What about Tak though? She's a lot like Azula, in a turn-the-earth-into-a-pinata sort of way.
Anyway, I guess it's largely because Azula has a much more complex past, along with her relation to the other characters in the show. I found her character to be much more compelling.
