Yeah, I always rooted for him too. But he's viewed as the antagonist, be that as he may that doesn't necessarily mean he's a villain. Perhaps the thread should be "Your Favorite Antagonist", but that's only going to work for these situations. I mean in one cartoon Jerry got Tom beheaded, that doesn't sound like the hero to me... And Tom is merely doing his civic duty of protecting his home and the communist Jerry demands share and share alike! It's a battle of capitalism over communism/socialism. Again, it's a very grey area as communism in its self isn't very evil, just in the hands of the wrong man can it be. But that's said of any form of economic stance or government. Also I just read way too much in a simple cartoon... I need more bed rest and need to stop staying up so late.

Okay, I feel creepy now. But my favourite cartoon villains of all time are easily Dick Dastardly & Muttley, if only because of how epic their fails are.
