Okay, okay, those three were all in jest. Seriously, I think my favourite would have to be Sora and Riku Donald Goofy Axel Kairi. Yep, Sora and Kairi have a pretty good thing going. Oh, and Roxas and Namine too, as a sort of logical follow-on. And despite the fact that it would bring that bit closer to Star Wars plagiarism, I think that in FF XII, Balthier and Ashe should have had some sort of closure. Through the whole game they seem to become much closer, and I would have liked to see them end up together (I'm a soppy romantic, not a shipper, before people start...).

I honestly can't think of any other games I've played that had really good romances.

Even though the game around them fell apart a lot more than it should, I thought that Squall and Rinoa had a nice romance going.

Princess Garnet and Zidane Tribal was also a nice romance to see.

Sora and Kairi had a good thing going as well.

Liu Kang and Kitana was the only thing that came close to a romance in a fighting game.

How is Morrigan in any way innocent?

On topic, I'm gonna go with Rikku and Tidus from Final Fantasy X, mainly because Rikku is so amazing. Even though it isn't possible in the game for it to work out, you can flirt with her occasionally, and the 2 definitely have their moments.

As for something that actually happens, a female Grey Warden and Alistair in Dragon Age: Origins.

Morrigan and Tali - their innocence are bliss.

Tali'Zorah is anything but innocent. She is a Survivalist. She may get flustered sometimes when talking to Shepard but at heart she is all about looking to the future and causality.

She bluffs a corporation into accepting a Quarian Slave by telling them she will summon the flotilla to blow them into dust. She also wants to kill the Rachni Queen without hesitation. She openly admits to wanting to commit mass genocide on the Geth multiple times (And she is loyal to her father to the point of accepting the consequences of treason rather than expose his work and sour his reputation.) She also doesn't bat an eye lash at Renegade Shepards actions, often times falling to the side of "They really deserved that."
