What if,

Inglourious Basterds did happen instead of the way WW2 ended.

Then far more competant military officials would take Hitler's place as ruler over Germany, thus lengthening the war.

The allies actually had various assassination plots to get rid of Hitler, but decided the man was better off alive seeing as how he was a lousy and lazy strategist and was essentially ensuring Germany's demise.

Wrong. Russia actually suspected germany would eventually attack despite their treaties. Russia's scheme was actually to try and delay the conflict between Germany and Russia as much as possible, just so it would give the country more time to mobilize, industrialise, and develop its armed forces. It would have probably helped Russia a great deal if Barbarossa came six months later than it did.

What if the Arch Duke of Austro-Hungary's driver didn't take that wrong turn on the way to the hospital, where he ended up taking the lynch pin to the start of the entire first World war into visible range of the assassin tasked to kill him?

No offense, but I really disagree with that. Not every conflict has been religion related, some were straight up politics. However if were to change that to religion AND politics. I would be inclined to agree.

People always find something to fight about, if it wasn't religion, it'd be nationalism or racism or any other type of 'ism'. Religion is just a convenient excuse for arseholes to hate everyone who isn't exactly like them.

Yes but what I'M saying is even if he did get to power (lets say in a world without religion) he wouldn't have killed all those jews because there would have been none, so he probably would have less hate

Well true but there's only such things as racism because of people allowing it to exist (its a long explanation) but at least if religion never existed there'd be one less problem
