Gotta go with Archimedes, the man who ran around shouting, "Eureka!" when he figured out mass.

plato, rand and lao tzu... because i understand their legacy. the original buddha is up there as well.
I prefer the works of play-dough over those of plato.
i bet you prefer trolling to proper discussion too.

Friedrich Nietzsche. His original work obviously before his sister got to it.
But Voltaire comes a close second.
With Vetenari third.
i have been told that some of my thoughts unintentionally have been the same as some of voltaire's. if this indeed is the case, i second the notion.

I'll go for Nietzsche, Sartre and Camus. There are some others who had quotes I use on a regular basis.

Every time I read new philosopher's, they usually takes my spot as "my favorite".

the most consistent, however, is Nietszche. I think he has us humans figured out pretty good.

Albert Camus. Not an actual philosopher, but still created a better philosophy than the lot of them.

Even though I'll write his name down it is not the case that I think he was right about everything. He simply is my biggest source of inspiration who has had the most influence in my writting.

Johannes Sloek is my favorite because he was the first philosopher who really changed my world view with cultural relativism. Also Sartre is pretty interesting.

Rand. The base concept of objectivism, that we should all live according to our rational perceptions and in our own self-interest, is just brilliant.

Also, I find myself heavily influenced by Sir Terry Pratchett, for what it's worth.

What's with all the Ayn Rand love?

I can get on board with the disbelief in the supernatural and the use of rational decsion making but free market economics and complete business autonomy have failed society again and again ever since the attempted similar methods in the 1980's with the neo-liberal agenda.

Lets bring back democratic socialism before it's too late
