My all time favorite movie is one of those. Labyrinth >:3

Also, Kung Pow. And the older Pokemon movies. I'm not a fan of most of the new ones. The one with Zoroark was good though :D

I loved Shoot Em Up too.

I'd have to say Labyrinth and Drop Dead Fred.

Two awesome movies that I still enjoy as an adult, and not feel guilty about loving.

Piranha 3D, Critters 1 & 2, Black Sheep, Bad Taste, Street Trash & Braindead also spring to mind.

Oh and the completely OTT, yet amazing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it's sequel, Secret Of The Ooze (Go Ninja, Go Ninja Go!)

Not the 3rd one though. That was horrible.

I've just thought of another.Three Men & a Little Lady.Cheesy as hell, but I love it.

Brett Ratner, Michael Bay, and Roland Emmerich movies. Their movies are dumb, but there is a reason why they draw in massive crowds time and time again.

And doubly so for Brett Ratner he's responsible for the Rush Hour series. I come from a Chinese family and grew up in a neighborhood with a racial make-up of mostly people from either Chinese or African descent. For that reason, it has a lot of relevance among us and we appreciate a lot of in jokes.

Okay well... Being a man watching Mean girls is pretty shameful BUUTTTT. Every guy i know - allegedly every guy in south east london has watched and liked that movie. It oddly more popular amongst men than it should be. /disclaimers
When it came out, everyone liked it. It was okay for me since I was 14, but many of the guys who admitted their enjoyment should probably be investigated by Dateline NBC.

after the most recent binge of Freejack, Lady Hawke, and who framed roger rabbit. I made the girlfriend watch cider house rules. Almost got broken up with, but it is a moving film.

Fritz the Cat and Heavy Metal. Not really all that great in the story department or the animation department, but there's just something about them that I find enduring.

For me it would have to be the Prequel trilogy of Star Wars, if only for Natalie portman
Honestly? Out of respect for Natalie Portman as an actress I can't bear to watch the prequel trilogy. I mean here was one of the most talented young actresses working in the industry at that time, and they were making her say some of the worst most godawful lines I've ever heard in a movie.
The worst bit, I thought, was when she got her mid drift exposed by a perfectly precise cut from that alien jaguar thing in the second movie. That made it shift from awful dialogue and poor direction straight into the realm of exploitation.

I just watch Black Swan, or V for Vendetta, or Garden State, or Closer or even Leon: The Proffessional and I find it hard to believe that this is the same actress.

But still, that's just my view, feel free to enjoy whatever you like for whatever reason. I admit, the primary reason I saw Thor was because I wanted another opportunity to check out Ms Portman so I understand your point.

Anyway onto the topic at hand:

Seriously, there are actually quite a few movies that fit that catergory. I used to have a very big thing with cheap, uninspired horror movies. Especially silly monster movies with bad special effects. If only so that I could mock them, of course, but all the same it's something I'd never do in public.

But the ultimate cheesy monster movie, and one that I have watched over and over again is Piranha 3-D. I mean I know it's rubbish, but then so must have everyone involved. Considering how many arthouse movies my parents keep taking me to see, I feel I've earned the right to see a naked Kelly Brook get eaten by CGI Piranhas.
Sometimes it's the simple things in life that are the greatest.
I watch it just for the fact that it is Natalie Portman. Ive had the hugest crush on her since i was about 9. I also saw Thor, not just for Nat, but it was a nice bonus. I love her in Black Swan and In V but i havent seen the other two

The Spongebob movie, if only for this scene.

It's been too long, I need to see that again.

For me, I looove any opportunity I get to pop on Jim Hensen's Labyrinth or The Dark Crystal and settle down with a big mug of tea. Ahhhhh.
I love that scene. Labyrynth is amazing, I love Bowie. Im pissed at Warner Bro's because they made Burton choose Nicholson instead of David Bowie as the Joker, I think it would have been such an awesome idea

i was watching Van helsing yesterday. I like Predator, predator 2 is horrid, and i feel like Predators (The Newest One) might fall under this catagory

Probably this:

or this:

I LOVE awful movies. It's probably a sickness.

Eight Legged Freaks or Slither would probably count as guilty pleasures as well. I love monster movies.

You sure Bowie would have made a better Joker? I mean, we're talking guy who sang 'Little Drummer Boy' with Bing Crosby' [//www.youtube.com/watch?v=DiXjbI3kRus] vs. the nutjob from The Shining [//www.youtube.com/watch?v=_0fgAfo-e3w] - I'd be hard pressed to see Bowie as the more suitable candidate.

Mortal Kombat! The Theme tune is awesome and the film is just tonnes of corny fun, The TV Show Mortal Kombat: Conquest is pretty much the same vein, with even worse acting which makes it hilarious
