Does that mean that buying and eating some meat for yourself is masochism? Does that mean that soon people will start eating meat at BDSM conventions?
Well shit. It seems I was abused a horrible amount, and never even knew it. Wait, I'm gonna be abused tonight, due to the fact that I will be having beef casserole. EEEK!
In all seriousness, I think that this is one of the stupidest things that PETA have done. If they are gonna make really stupid claims, at least do the photoshop properly, so it doesn't look like a hairy balloon is about to devour the burger.

No. You know what's child abuse? Cramming a bunch of pills down his throat because all that salad and tasteless ethnic mush you feed him is incapable of fulfilling his protein needs without the help of pharmaceuticals. So, if it's abusive for a parent to feed a kid meat, is a kid technically being a masochist if he chooses to eat meat? I know that my mom played about as little of a hand in raising me as possible (I can't really blame her, she was a single parent and I was a freaking hellspawn back then) and when the subject came down to dinner, I was the one who usually begged for fast food, and I was the one ordering for myself, never her. And I can't think of any family setting where a child wouldn't choose what s/he wanted to eat. Personally, I think it's the parents who make the decisions for the kids that are the true abusive ones, since they're robbing their children of basic human rights. But maybe I'm being too hard on these new-age parents.

I also started charging a car coming in traffic while mowing the lawn, in order to get the driver to stop to keep from hitting the neighbors cat who was stunned in the road. However, the simple fact is, that in order for humans to survive, we must eat once living things, or the products from once living things. It is the natural state of existence not just for humans, but for almost all species on the planet. So please knock off this nonsense of trying to tell us to stop eating our food because it has eyes. Just because you dont hear Carrots screaming when you jerk them out of the ground doesnt mean you didnt just snuff a life out of existence.

"use to humanity" animals are not to be used by humanity, they're to coexist equally with the same rights and privledges that every human is offered. If they commit a crime, they are to be given a fair trial and then jail time. Meh, most of these animals are specifically bred for just testing, that's their only reason to exist. Hell some groups even clones animals so they have as best of a control of variables as possible for testing.

But in all seriousness... I've always been taught that you always need a balanced diet and that this applies especially to children. So meats and vegetables(with a guest appearence from their good buddy fruit) should work.
