Well yes, apparently women have more rights than men now.

Hitting a women is sexual assault. Being hit by one gets you labeled as a wuss. Either way, men lose.

Offering to help a woman do something she is struggling with means you're looking down on her. Not offering to help means you're an ill-mannered brat. Either way, men lose.

There is one thing that I find amusing. I've heard women making speeches about their suppressed rights. And I say ... give them all the rights, and the exact same rights as all the men. Heck, why bother to differentiate between men and women at all. Lets have ALL politics, ALL offices, ALL jobs, ALL sports equal for men and women everywhere. There is nothing women can't do that men can.

Personally, I'd like to see them playing American football, rugby and wrestling with the guys ^_^

Yeah! Thank fuck you were keeping all those heavy responsibilities that my underdeveloped, emotional, female brain just couldn't manage! With the level of maturity you just displayed, they were clearly in the right hands.

I hate to say it but the hitting girls and being hit by girls thing is a really impossible situation for guys... i mean if somehow a woman wants to assault you (and it happens) what can you do? If you fight back your a woman beating monster. If you dont you have been beaten up by a girl and are designated "weak". I dont think iether of these things should be applied. I dont think its weak to be hit by a girl but hey, thats society. I know women dont enforce this but this is how it is. You cant win. Girls are untouchable. A girl can also yell at your or verbally barate you and responding in kind is seen as morally wrong.

So true... But if you were to defend yourself in a way that meant you were not causing physical pain, you should not feel as if you are a monster. Nobody should be allowed to expect anyone to stand there and take either a physical or verbal beating, be it man to man, woman to woman, man to woman or woman to man.

You COULD stop giving a damn and teach the physically/verbally abusive woman a lesson. I'm sure a lot of people would appreciate the high strung ***** being taken down a notch. (jks btw.... or is it.......?)

I'm not depressed about it. At least I always have company. As pathetic as that may sound, I could care less anymore. Every human friend I have ever had has stabbed me in the back when they realized how weird I am (and no I don't talk about this demon stuff to people in rl, I don't want to be locked up thank you )but the demon is always understanding. Not always agreeing, but always listening.

This has been a long, long, long, long, long, long and depressing, albeit strangely insightful, read.

To me, true equality is unobtainable on a personal level.

Society may view one sex as being superior to the other or, perhaps some day, "equal", but that really doesn't matter all that much. If you take a moment to consider that all of our interactions on a day to day basis involve just a scant number of individuals, each of which having their own biases, experiences, and opinions on the matter, I think it becomes very difficult to hold up any real claim of personal persecution or anecdote as proof positive of a sex's socially ascribed value.

That's not to say that there isn't basic biological inequality between the sexes. As its been said numerous times so far; Men, in general, are physically more capable than women. Women are, in general, better suited to care giving professions. These are two very basic, some might say stereotypical, examples of differences between men and women.

Those crying foul are right about them being stereotypical, but that fact doesn't diminish the truth behind those stereotypes. I'd like to think that nobody would argue this statement, but I like being surprised.

I'm also not particularly fond of crimes against human beings. I'm also not particularly fond of those same disgusting crimes being used as cannon fodder to further someone's agenda.

I'm losing track of my point here...

To recap: Sex-based equality isn't feasibly obtainable, as no power short of the hand of god...or mind altering drugs carefully distributed into the world's atmosphere and/or systematically placed in the water supplies of population centers...can prevent individuals from potentially fucking up your day. Feminism is the same thing as masculism. Both are ill-advised routes to pursue in terms of social betterment. Holding up rape and battery as purely female issues and attributing those terrible things to a state of sexual inequality in society as opposed to simple criminal and horrific individual behavior is just foolish.

On a personal bias/opinion level; You're all the same to me. Some of you are better to look at, male or female, but that's about the extent of the difference. I don't dislike anyone for any reason other than because their personality and actions are worthy of my disdain.

I know. I'm usually standing up for rights of Women. I mean I hold up Wonder Woman as an example. She's still very womanly while still being just as strong, if not stronger then either Superman or Batman. Wonder Woman is just as strong as Superman, just as smart as Batman, but she only has one identity (except in the case of the Lynda Carter Tv Series). She doesn't become a Super hero because she wants revenge, or just because its the right thing to do. She does it partly out of love, and because she's an ambassador, truely believing in peace between everybody. Even with all that, she still finds time to indulge in spas and making her self look pretty.

I think feminism is overdone. As well as anti-racism is overdone. Women have the same rights as a man, and they don't carry an almost exposed sack of pain on the outside.
