When I was in Jr. High a buddy gave me a big grab bag of Software with some FPS titles thrown into the mix.
Since I can't remember which one I played first it was either Heretic, Rise of the Triad or Doom II

Wolfenstein 3D. The demo, it came out when I was too young to know what anything was, and I think I only first played it in maybe 1996. I still love FPSs. I'm really bad at them, but I love playing them.

I played Goldeneye on the N64.
Although to say I 'played it' is a little generous. I was occassionally given a turn and I usually did it with all the cheats turned on including that Big Head one. I then ran around unkillable and invisible killing all the cartoonishly big headed villians with glee.
What can I say? I was a kid.
