The 1986 game Arcticfox [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arcticfox] on the Commodore Amiga. That game ran so slow. When the game was peaceful, you could get about 6 frames per second. That dropped to 1 frame per second when the action kicked in.

Yep. I played 1 and 2 on the Commodore 64, but they were more like Robotron. Wolfenstein on a 486 sx 25 was my first real FPS ever.

My first FPS was Turok on the Nintendo 64. I could only play it very early in the morning when my parents were in bed because I was only 6 years old and they did not want me playing a game so gory. Turok had been a game my dad bought for himself, you see.

Wow, that's an ugly game now.

Got a buddy with a PS3, yet, he can't stop playing this on his MAC. The graphics do what they need to do, and the game, especially for fans, does what they need to do. Love that midi music too!
