Unless you count Rosie Palms, I've never been on a date.
I really have trouble talking to women and the dating thing is made worse by the fact that I literally can't talk to anyone about girls I like. I just can't do it and I have no idea why. And besides, is dating really worth it?

Yes, yes it is worth it.

OT: First girlfriend was at 15 and we've been on and off since then.

15, she was in some classes with me and her personality (among other things) attracted me, so I pursued her. Still dating, 2 years later.

I never had a girlfriend. I'm 18 now and I really don't mind that I'm a bit "late". I would've actually refused any kind of relationship like that until I was 16, I just find it stupid to start that "stuff" so soon.
And like other people posted earlier, I really don't want a relationship for the sake of having one. So I'll wait patiently until I meet a/the girl I really far in love with... she'll come, and I'll wait.

18 and still single. I'm content though, no one get a girlfriend by freaking out about not having a girlfriend :)

Well, I'm 19 as of today, and I haven't had a proper girlfriend yet. Been on a few dates and the like, but allways seem to fall into the "let's-be-friends"-pit-of-death.

Hopefully that will change this year. Not setting any high hopes or anything though.

17 I think. She was going out with one of my good mates when I first got together, and ended up getting with me while still with him... I'm still friends with the mate and barely speak to her any more, so that worked out...

I got married when I was 4 or 5 years old, though it was a very unserious marriage.
I've never had a girlfriend, even though I think I don't look that bad.
Thank you, friend-zone!

Not all gamers are Socially disabled. I'm a gamer, I'm 15 and I'm going out with a girl later this week. Sure some are... but gaming isn't the cause.

I really don't want to have a random girlfriend just for the sake of having one, like so many people I know do. I did that when I lost my virginity, and I regret it. It would have been more meaningful with someone I actually cared about.
I agree with you man, twice I've been going out with a girl just because I could, not because I particularly wanted to, neither lasted very long, I felt guilty that it meant more to them than it did to me.

Same with sex, the girl I lost my virginity to was basically in the same boat as me, neither of us wanted to become a couple, we pretty much were doing each other a favour, it wasn't a particularly fulfilling experience.
Word about the sex thing. Kinda an empty experience when there's nothing deeper involved.

OT: 22 when I started dating my first girlfriend, we met because she was the kinda new and random roommate of a really good friend of mine. Didn't last long but it was a nice way to break the relationship ice so to speak.
