being part middle eastern I know a way to get all the goodness of a pomegranate without the mess. its easy once you get the hang of it.
It requires a Pomegranate with absolutely perfect skin (i.e no major cracks or small breaks in the skin where items may leak). After washing it, grasp it in your hand and use your thumbs to at first, then continuously press down on the skin. do this ALL over the fruit, it will take time as a beginner because you may be hesitant on how hard to press down but the skin is pretty tough. keep pressing down for a while.
when you think you have pressed it down to the point of the skin breaking, Bite a hole in the skin, and drink! it gets a majority of the seeds and its soooooo good to have freshly pressed juice!
