I wouldn't fight for any country, but I'd fight for just about any person or group that's being oppressed. It's kind of my lifelong mission. That said, I'd prefer to find non-violent means to accomplish that.

I don't fight for countries, I fight for armies. So here is the list of military forces that I'm ready to fight for (and with) apart from my fellow Canadians:
-The United States Marine Corps
-The Royal Marine Commandoes
-The Royal Dutch Marines
-The British Parachute Regiment

Canada,Scotland and since I fell in love with Thailand over the last decade I would put my life on the line for Ayutthaya(again)
I wish I could say I would do the same for America as I have so many great friends(and family) from the good ol' US,
but I have repeatedly refused contract work in any of America's foreign wars at the moment as idealogically I cannot accept or support them.Pity.

The three requirements for me to fight with a country:
1. Must be fighting for an ideal that I can get behind, no nonsense about ending terror.
2.I have to generally like whoever is in power at the time. (or at least not loathe them)
3. The odds must not be stacked against the countries favor too badly. (I wouldn't fight in the local militia if China decided to invade Canada)

I would fight to the death for.. Denmark? No other countries.

As a Canadian I would fight (which would more than likely lead to my death) for Switzerland. Neutrality, chocolates, and banking, what isn't there to love?
There are good people in every country, and I wouldn't be prone to rush to defend anyone that started a fight, but if they were attacked I wouldn't mind throwing in with the English or the Japanese. Lord knows they've come along on enough of our country's bad ideas at this point. Maybe I just have a soft spot for island nations.
I'd take a bullet for Prince Charles.

As a pacifist I wouldn't fight willingly for any country. I do however have a great deal of respect for Denmark, Japan, Germany, Australia and Poland. Nevertheless I would never fight for them or even for my own country: good ol' Scotland.
Even if I did want to fight I don't think it would be for a country/ several countries as to me they seem like rather silly things to fight for, they're just huge areas of land, there's always somewhere else to go.
