Yup, I am a troll. If by troll you mean a poster who actually knows what the hell they are talking about. Please go back to your mom's basement, I think the laundry is ready to be folded.
I am not going to argue with you. I'm simply going to tell you that you are wrong. Good day.

Oh that's good. You're such a kidder. Fox News? Slightly biased? Hahah... Wow. <_<

Yes, he is a troll, Tears. Specifically, a hybrid troll with elements of Hit-and-Run Poster and Concern Troll. Report and move on.

It is a wonder that people like you make it through the day. Nothing, not a single word, that I have posted is based in anything but fact, either from the piece on fox,or by the imbeciles like you who posted on these forums or th dumbass who wrote the article in the first place. Nothing. Anyone with half a brain can read through the posts watch the video, play the game and read the article and come to the same conclusion. The game is rated 17+, you do get to play as a terrorist. The violence is extremely realistic in its depiction, and all FOX did was question whether this was going to far.

Whether or not you people have your heads to far up your asses to see this or are just too stupid to realize your mistake is irrelevant. The facts of this article, the interview and my posts speak for themselves and I quite frankly could give a crap whether or not the Escapist or a dumbass like you realizes that.

If you had posted anything that even remotely addressed the argument at hand, had presented even the slightest counter point, I would be more than willing to discuss, which if you had bothered to read any of my posts, I actually tried to do several times. Instead, you decide to chime in on something you obviously have NO information about and you suddenly become a voice of reason, while I am a troll. Please.

The original point remains valid, and I am still waiting for a discussion about whether or not a game like this goes to far. Having played it as well as a host of other realistic shooters, I have to say that it is a little disturbing to me, and the point as to whether or not it is for children is extremely valid. I say that unless it is presented in context by parents who know what the hell their children are doin, the answer to that question is no. And no amount of mis-informed, adolescent banter is going to change that.

Huh, the game's been out for over 36 hours. I'm amazed it took them this long, frankly!

When even gamers are bitching that a level's gone too far, you just know Fox is gonna jump onto it.

I'm amazed that more Americans haven't jumped on the last few missions, after Shepherd betrays Price and Soap and the missions basically become "There are terrorists and American troops, kill 'em all. And get to the checkpoint."
ya I thought fox would be all over killing american general, but hey they probably havent beaten the game on easy yet and dont know how it ends.

This whole thing makes me want to bribe an Amish guy to go on a pitchfork rampage in a school, just to see how FOX pin that one on videogames.

I laughed when he asked "Is it really alright to kill people?". Well from what Fox News would normally have you believe... If they're not American, then yes.

EDIT: Woo hoo Gonzo.

Well, I'm really raging at this. But even so, people need to keep this in perspective.

Fox news is fair and balanced.

Fox & Friends isn't the news.

Fox & Friends is a silly conservative think tank that comes on early in the morning.

If someone on "The view" says something stupid, we don't go "Oh my god I can't believe ABC wtf?"

We say "Boy the view is stupid".

Same thing here.

No you couldn't. Even if you could fill a page with your inane ramblings(which I seriously doubt) nothing you could say would change the facts of the segment.

The game IS rated for mature gamers, the violence IS realistically portrayed, you CAN play a section of the game as a terrorist, and this type of thing SHOULD be monitored by parents and at the very least discussed with their children before they are allowed to play.

If you have something to say, say it, but just like the rest of the people here without a clue, please refrain from talking out of your ass.

As always it is heavily biased. Fox News has never been fair & balanced. It's a mystery to me why they are even taken seriously.

It's obvious that Fox News chose this man to represent the gaming industry because he wasn't a professional. The debate was literally between a media CEO and an internet blogger who probably has to pull that title around his actual job. I'm sure that Infinity Ward would've been more than happy to send an educated representative, but that wasn't good for business to Fox. Honestly, Fox News is a place for conservatives to hear news the way that's comfortable to them. You know that feeling you had in your brain that made you want go on a rampage while you were watching that video? That's what conservatives and Republicans feel when watching MSNBC. In other words, it wasn't for us to see.

This article links two pages that discredit his "relation between violence in games and real life violence" argument alone. Did you click the links? Even then, there's how they were wrong in the sense that they left out information. To put that into perspective, they were calling a ham sandwich a dead pig - while it's technically just that, they're giving viewers an inaccurate understanding of the subject. You can see evidence of what they leave out in, well, 50% of this thread. I'd give you your own advice and say you need to "refrain from talking out of your ass." I would, but that is a rude thing to say.

Well if you just ever look at the guy for like 2 seconds you can tell that he is very missinformed. Yes he did say all that. But he also reframed from saying that the mission is optinal, that there are 2, TWO (or more that i may have missed) warnings saying that it may be disturbing, also he reframed for saying why you played the mission, and o course, brought up that violence in videogames results to violence in real life. WHICH ISNT TRUE, and it is with the very select group then they shouldnt be playing violent videogames now should they.

And also this was on FOX which pretty much makes everything wrong in some way.

Oh my God.

OH. MY. GOD.

How could I not realize the true horror of this... this "thing" that dares masquerade as entertainment. I truly feel enlightened for the first time. Thank you Fox News. Thank you for showing me the errors of my hedonistic gamer ways,
