You should also notice how while their are quotes saying "children are contacted by sex offenders through on line video games more often than parent's realized" and "The FBI says it's one of the fastest growing crimes". There are no facts or figures to back this up, essentially heresay. The FBI findings could be from 10 people to 20, which is massive increase as a percentage, but out of context means nothing.
When it comes to fox news, they are fear mongerers, not a reputable news source. I think our conclusions that yet again Fox news is having a nice little bash at videogames is perfectly acceptable

This is not new at all. The internet has been used for this for a long time and Xbox live is still internet. And I would like to see someone managing this using the Wii. You're matched randomly and you need to type in that awfully long friend code to add someone. I barely bother to add my friends. I guess this is news because it's just recently been brought to attention and yeah, it is horrible that it happens.
On a side note. My friend met a guy who wanted some web cam action with a girl. My friend didn't mind messing around with him and pretended to be a girl and flirted with him until he finally got a webcam and made a fake messenger profile. That guy freaked out big time...

Having an offender be on a live network is about as inevitable as blinking. Everyone should know that.

Thank you, too many times do I find here that people just blatently speak out against anything Fox for the simple reason of the brand. While I personally don't like them too much, I find the hate they get, especially here, is extreme.Mimsofthedawg said:

I get it, totally a bad article, and uncalled for. Must have been a slow news day to write such an expose. But honestly, It's not just Fox News who reports like this. Local CBS and NBC stations love to write about things like this as well. It's all about ratings. SO go ahead and feed the machine, or do what I do and ignore the ridiculous articles out there.
