Yeah well that would be illegal, but probably justified as it's basically a Christian Rightist lie factory.
At least you know the limits that some people seem to completely forget.

First, this isn't Fox News, but just a local affiliate station. That doesn't stop the cable version from being stupid, but this one isn't them. Just some local station trying to get some attention through sensationalist reporting.

It seems that we can't get Fox News to disappear by simply ignoring it. I think it's time to put plan B in action. Now, where can I find some nuclear warheads...
I'm gonna go all Morgan Freeman on you and say...

So let me get this straight. You think that this news organization is in line with the war mongering, power hungry, militarist, right-wing political parties, who's greatest goal is to spread the power and authority of America by supposedly using illegitimate force and ensuring the security of the rich by oppressing the poor. And your plan is to strike this news organization with military grade weapons? hmm... well, good luck!
My god... its a joke dude. Thanks for destroying it.

EDIT: If my memory serves me correctly, I believe they just did this topic not to long ago. Something about the DS's PictoChat being a new tool for child predators. Beware! Your children could be receiving crudely drawn MSPaint-esque penises via their GameBoys!
But they're the ones sending them.
Except they're not, because it never fucking happened. It was Faux News ranting about how PictoChat is a "potential threat" to children. The penis joke was my own invention.
I've been mistaken, no worries though. I was implying that those same children had most likely already seen quite a few crudely drawn, technological penises due to the fact that sending your friend a picture of one probably felt like the most hilarious thing in existence to said child.

Yeah, doesn't mean I entirely approve. It's all a can of goddamn worms really. We can't stop the evil, cuz it hides behind the good, without compromising our democratic values. Although I find democracy failing us again and again these days...

They are lucky I don't have anything sharp around! yeah just because one guy does it, it's not a terrible thing!

Oh guess what FOX? Outside man, Whoa, strangers are everywhere man! And What if one of those strangers have....fists! I mean fists hurt a lot, or even kill! Like my buddy, he got hit once, and it gave him an owey! And child predators can watch kids....From windows and kidnap them! and drug dealers man...whoa man whoa! yep, outside is a pretty scary place. We should ban it to.

*facepalm*
Oh and guess what those games are M. That means you have to be MATURE to play them! If some 6 year old hears about 6 while playing a 17+ rated game, whose fault is that? The guy that said it? yeah, but really the parents that don't care about the ratings and ***** and complain when something like this happens.

I don't see why people are hating on Fox News, not for this report at least, I mean come on they are just stating facts that everyone already knows. If you have a internet connection and go into a chat room chances are theres probably going to be one of these sexual predators in them. And of course with the advancement of having internet connection with consoles and Ipods and what not what else can you think will happen? Seriously though can someone explain to me why Fox News should be shut down partially in due to this news report? Anyone with 2 cents of knowledge would know that this would happen before buying it for their kids and I doubt that the report is giving a bad name to any console companies.

Normally I don't give a crap about Fox News - Oh wait I still don't.

They're a news station, don't watch them if it bothers you, personally I watch it because it's not an ammoral leftist lie factory like CNN, so pick your poison.

These are more the articles of the retards who are too stupid to get a position making fools of themselves on live TV so they write something edgy to catch someone's eye. But....sound system? My games don't have sound systems...how do you... Are their speakers on the CD?

Hmm...That's a local Fox News channel, not the major one. Content varies wildly on the local channels.

Still stupid, though.

Not like the left-wing understands gamers any better, though.
They don't, it's a shame.
Which is why, once I can vote, I'll be a registered nothing.

That or textbooks and such, haha.

I actually had a coworker who was just like that guy on Superbad who would constantly draw penises on everything. Over the course of a year, we kept finding all of these draw penises all over the warehouse, hidden in odd locations all over the place. I can imaging this guy with a DS sending it to everyone he can and giggling like a schoolyard girl.

I am registered as nothing. I'm apolitical. The party based system is killing America.

Well I blame the parents of the kids who are playing these games online.

If hypothetically someone does try to solicit sexual intercourse with a minor over a gaming network (which I've never ever heard of a case of by the way), then I blame the parents of the child for A. Not utilizing parental controls, and B. Not monitoring their child's gaming.

I would go as far to say these neglectful parents are just as bad as the paedophiles.

I also must add, that targetting video games alone in this article is just another way to pass the buck of a problem with society onto video games as usual. Nevermind blaming the internet as a whole.

Heh heh Erica McWhorter is worried about sex offenders. Anyways, how is this any different from the rest of the internet? The fact that it was done on a game console has nothing to do with it, there's only one internet.

Good god I miss common sense.
