Hum, is there some kind of second page I'm missing? The article doesn't say anything about banning video games at all. To me it seems a rather neutral fox-article, if something like that exists. They even state it in the text: "Sex offenders will go anywhere kids go"

To me there is absoluty no flame in the atricle, so either it's to late for me to get it, or some of you didn't read the stuff beyond the headline and unwrapped their fox-beating-sticks.

Yeah well that would be illegal, but probably justified as it's basically a Conservative Rightist lie factory.
Fixed that for you. That station is about as Christian as the Crusades.

Geez... if Fox News didn't have something to whine and complain about, they'd shrivel up and die. Not that anyone would notice....
Of course people would notice, the gaming community would live much more peaceful lives, free of idiots telling other idiots how evil we all are.
Haha, true. Maybe I should have replaced "not that anyone would notice" with "Global Gamer Celebration to follow!"

I really hate to say this buuuut:
For all that people are hatin' on Fox for this (and God knows Fox has earned much hatin' up to this point) this is really really tame.
The word 'often' is used inappropriately once, and okay 'sexbox' was for the ratings, but other than that this is almost no different from reports I've seen on respectable news shows. Please dig up better dirt on Fox, because if we are going to crush them out of existence we need GOOD DIRT!

Guys... Calm down and ignore the trolls. There's no point in being upset.
Oh please. This sort of thing can always be counted on to make many of the posters here piss themselves with rage, flooding the forum with the smell of indignation....and urine.

Seems like all one needs to do to get them riled is to say "Someone said videogames are BAD!" and before you know it you've got 'em calling for fire and battle axes.

Becuase going to a mall in the city where you see dozens of people who you can't avoid, that some are possibly chi-mo's is sooooo much safer than playing a game from a million miles away where you never see somone

Normally I don't give a crap about Fox News - Oh wait I still don't.

They're a news station, don't watch them if it bothers you, personally I watch it because it's not an ammoral leftist lie factory like CNN, so pick your poison.

These are more the articles of the retards who are too stupid to get a position making fools of themselves on live TV so they write something edgy to catch someone's eye. But....sound system? My games don't have sound systems...how do you... Are their speakers on the CD?
Correction fox news is a news snation that thinks its entertainment

Why is being Christian bad? Fox isn't he only station that spews political bullshit. CNN, MSNBC, they all do it. It's just now that hating on conservatives is the "in" thing. Back in the 80's, when everyone was sucking off Reagan, people hated on the Dems.

Anyway. I am dissapointed. I thought this actually featured sex robots, like in futurama. What can you expect? It's FOX.

I'm getting to the point where I want to see someone report that watching Fox News is exposing children to racy, violent, and frightening imagery which subsequently causes them to drop out of school, become addicted to hard drugs, and turn to prostitution to support themselves shortly before bringing a loaded assault rifle into a Wal-Mart.

It won't be true... But it won't be significantly more inaccurate than a lot of their less-researched pieces of sensationalism.

If you're scared for your kids, educate them about people online, like to not give out personal info, and if someone asks you a sexual question, mute them and report them so they get arrested. It's not that hard, and it's a lot better than restricting online access or making a meidia fuss about it like McWhoretr did. all it does is make more ignorant parents like her to be scared.

Wow, my apathy filter kicked in as soon as I saw the picture of the X-Box. If the reporter is not bothered to use the 360 photo when spouting his or her paranoic ramblings, I really cannot bring myself to feign outrage. Why should I do more work than the reporter did?

They're just saying "sexual predators" can harass you on Xbox live. They're not saying it's the devil's toy.

It's just a warning to report predators. Quit the jumping to conclusions.

That is great and all, but this is local station. Not FoxNews the nation wide news network everyone is bashing all the time.

Besides the whole article is so riddled with false information and incorrect facts it reads more like an April Fools gag then a legitimate news article. Seriously calm down and read it again. It really does read more like an email pretending to be news.

If I was Heidi Hemmat I would be horrified that my name was attached to such a shoddy piece of "Investigative Journalism."
I would have to agree with these statements, though I have only read the first page, I don't have enough time to read the rest.

""It was very scary" says Erica McWhorter."
"says Erica McWhorter."
"Erica McWhorter"
"McWhorter"

Aside from that unexpected name they make it sound like for every player in a game there are three pedophiles.

Am I the only person here who watches BBC world news & thinks Fox News is a tabloid run by trolls living in the Underdark?

Oh well, it looks like I was the 135 person to leave a negative comment on their page.

Hey, you know how Yahoo Answers has their own Fail page deticated to the stupidest answers? I think Fox News deserves their own fail page deticated to their most misinformed articles.
