To those who think Half-Life should Die:
So far there have been 3 Half-Life games, if you include the Episodes as 1 game. Right now, Half Life has arguable the most compelling GameWorld in the shooter genre. It is very complex and well thought-out, with many questions being raised while others are answered.
The writers at Valve have managed to weave very complex themes: fascism, political corruption, quantum physics and instinctual human survival, into a game with simple core gameplay-- blow shit up.
On top of that, the series contains the most believable, likable, and memorable characters in Videogames, period. If you aren't saddened in any way by the end of Episode 2, you are a heartless person.
Who is the G-man? What drives Alyx Vance to fight? What happened to Aperture Science?
I'm psyched for Episode 3, and was overjoyed when Valve announced Source 2 and HL3.
