"Fuck this" moments

Modern Warfare 2's online community regulary make me do "fuck this" moments, either with me quitting or pulling out as much explosives as possible.

"Twist, turn, pull... TIE FIGHTERS!! Oh, it's corrected itself."

Modern Warfare 2 Veteran Mode. I peek my head out for more than 2 seconds, BAM I die.

If you think that's bad try COD4 on Veteran. MW2 is a breeze in comparison.

This. MW2 on Veteran is a piece of cake compared to COD4 (most notably the fairground stand-off at the end of One Shot, One Kill - my own "Fuck This" moment when I was in a really bad position as a checkpoint was reached).

'Takedown' in MW2 was more annoying than the other levels but it certainly isn't as hard as people seem to think. I got stuck in a house on the second level of the Favela mainly because I had very little ammo, so on multiple tries I had to one shot kill every enemy in the area. Scavenging weapons that fell just my way (RPG fell from a roof) got me through that part - the rest of the level was easy.

The Spec Ops missions were harder than the campaign on Veteran.

Most recently it was Bayonetta, funnest, and coolest looking game I've played in years... if you're just trying to have fun. When you're actually trying to do something, like going for a pure platinum run on NSIC, you're going to have more than a few aneurysms.

The Timesplitters 2 story missions on Hard mode. I couldn't even get past Siberia, I sucked so hard.

The level in X-Men Origins: Wolverine where you have to cut up a Sentinel as it falls through the air. One of those damn quick time events where you have to mash a button a thousand times a second. It took me for ever to do it.

Bad teammates in online games. I'll be doing absolutely amazing but my teammates would just constantly get killed until we lost the match. It's ridiculous.
Or fighting the sumo in Vexx for the second time... Pbbbbbbbth.

Uncharted 2. I hate the shooting mechanics at any given time, so when they put me on a gun turret in chapter 22 with around 50 enemies closing in on all sides, I told the game to go fuck itself and traded it in. I'm fucking done with that series.

When i was playing dragon age and i had to run across a bridge with a dragon breathing fire on it and just as i was about to get to the other side a squad of crossbowman killed me. coincidentally it was also the same point when yahtzee said fuk this game too

Far Cry 2, after the 50th "suicide jeep" that seems to randomly spawn when u get near checkpoints, that can't out run, and turns your car into swiss cheese.

Why can't I just travel for a couple of minutes unharassed, I mean, christ, I am actually working FOR the people attacking me.

-Star Destroyer in The Force Unleashed
The pictures of the sticks lied to me. It would say to pull one direction when it was already lined up. Once I stopped looking at the pictures and just watching the ship, I got it easily.
^(also: damn near every boss fight in that game on the hardest difficulty. First action game I've ever beaten on the hardest one, and I'm relieved Kazdan Paratus finally went down)

-Pillars in God of War 1 (self-explanatory for anyone who's played it...)
-Several moments in Call of Duty: WaW on Vet. By far the hardest in the series on Vet (I haven't tried the third one on Veteran, but I doubt its harder than WaW. So.Many.Grenades)

-Portal. Another very overhyped game, where the only decent thing to come of it is the credits tune. The people who solve this game in two hours or so must be related to the same people who can solve a Rubic's Cube in seven minuites.

Hardly anyone beats it in 2 hours on the first playthrough. It's the fourth or fifth time you play through it and know all the solutions to the chambers that you can do it in 2 hours. Portal took me 5, maybe 6 hours the first time.

Ninja Gaiden 2. Fucking lightning snake. Tried everything to kill the sonofabitch calmly and simply. Arrows, waiting for different moments...Nothing. Died horrible horrible deaths multiple times.

Next day, I just throw myself at the damn thing relentlessly and win. Made me feel a little better.

Heh, after the nth time we failed at Mimiron because somebody was incapable of moving after seeing a rocket targeting reticule under their feet, my entire guild did this, myself included, and most of us put the game down for over half a year as a result.

It was in Lost Planet the boss battle against the Green Eye. Almost no Thermal energy left+ hard difficulty+ Enemy roughly 20X the size of me with relatively hard to reach weak spots and homing and wide area attacks that freeze me plus it goes berserk about halfway through= almost impossible boss battle and FUCK. THIS!

Stupid game, I have no sense of direction when I know nothing about the layout of the building.

Anyways, I'd also add the elder dragons in Monster Hunter. OHKO's are not fun.
