Alexander stood there, waiting for curtis to finish, bored out of his mind. Thoughts of Curtis's little private machinations kept popping into his head but he kept trying to banish them, soon though, he couldn't and curiosity overcame him.

"Hey Curt. Coming in now, ready or-" he said, turning in...only to find the alley deserted.

"Damn it, Curtis."

After getting over the initial fact that Curt had disappeared, he started pondering how he had dissappeared suddenly. He ruled out vampires, people like Curtis and him don't dissapear quietly, they always leave a sign or something and he wasn't finding one. At that moment he yawned. He had lost track of time, when was it.

He soon learned (more like was yelled at and got into an argument with) what time it was from a passerby. 'Damn, sun will be up soon.' he thought and with that he set off for home, reasoning that if curtis wanted to be left to his own devices then he would leave him to it, besides, he needed to sleep. He also noticed that the vampire heads wern't around, noting that Curtis probably took them with him. Oh well.

Catherine hadn't eaten for a good day, and she was unusually hungry. Her dark braid whipped behind her as she raced towards the city, not caring about pleasantries. She grabbed the first human she saw and threw him into an alley, her intentions clear in her face. Before he could scream she sliced his throat open lengthwise, careful not to sever his arteries. Blood is so much better laced with fear... He fell back clutching his throat, garbled sounds choking out of his mouth. She hissed and bared her fangs, her slender form gleaming in the fading moonlight. She grabbed his ankle as he tried to skitter away, snapping it like a twig. His scream was lost in the night. He grabbed at anything he could as Catherine dragged him back, but found nothing to delay her fangs from sinking into his throat. She drank a long drought, impervious to her surroundings as she drained her victim of his life. With a grunt she threw his body down and sniffed the air.

Werewolf? ... They're getting brave... although hunting feeding vampires is not the most honorable way to go down... I suppose it was a good thing I finished before one caught me unawares. Her violet eyes blinked in the soft light. I wish I could remember what the sunrise looked like... She turned hesitantly, not willing to spend the night in the village if there were wolves about. With one last glance at the dead body of her victim she took off towards the Queen's fortress.

Reaching the former den site, Curtis pushed through the door quickly and closed it behind him. Returning to human form, he laid his fallen brother in one of the rooms, before returning and barring the front door. Too close to dawn for the vamps to risk an attack really, but better safe than sorry. That done he went into the common area of the den, and lay down on the couch.

Between all the running and the fight, he was bone tired. Moments after he lay down, he was sound asleep, snoring heavily.

Allowing Tim to catch up with him, Vincent continued to run to the castle. As they reached the door, Vincent noticed that the werewolf which had sat there was gone - replaced by the heads of two kindred - badly mauled. "Damned wolves", spat Vincent, "I'm gonna kill the fucker that did this". Entering the fortress, Vincent headed for the cellar, picking out an Ardbeg malt for the day, before retiring to his room.

Deciding to follow Catherine into the city, Ernst made his way to the streets where he was sure he would be able to feast. He made his way through the alleyways, looking for potential victims. Luckily for him, a victim found him. As he moved his way into an alley and began to move down it, a man moved into his path, blocking his way. He held a knife out at Ernst in a way that he must have figured was threatening. When one has stared down the barrel of the main cannon of a Russian tank, a knife just isn't that intimidating anymore though. Ernst let a grin creep onto his face again while he stared down at the knife pointed at him.

"O-okay, hand over what money you have and I won't hurt you," the man said in heavily accented English.

"Hurt me? You're going to hurt me?" Ernst calmly replied while he continued to look at the man's weapon.

"Yeah, I will unless you give me the money you have, you have to be carrying some," the man began to feel unnerved by the guy he was mugging. This guy was decently big and by the looks of it had been in a fight too.

"Actually, I'm not. Too bad for you."

"What, yeah you are. You wouldn't be just wandering around if you didn't. Well if you're not going to give it to me..." the man said as he quickly jabbed forward embedding the blade into Ernst's torso before the vampire reacted. A smile grew across the mugger's face as he became more confident, this guy just looked tough.

That confidence began to fade when instead of acting like a normal person would when they get stabbed in the gut, Ernst instead grabbed the man's hand and squeezed it hard. Bones could be heard beginning to crack as the man cried out in pain and let go of the knife. Ernst released the mugger and watched him stumble back, before pulling one of his own knifes out.

"Nope, I haven't got any money on me. I do have some knives though..." Ernst calmed said before throwing the blade directly into the man's head. Decades of practice had paid off and the blade was now embedded deeply into the man's skull, who now had a surprised look on his face before passing out. Ernst walked over to the body, knelt down, and began to drain it of blood; savoring it while he drank. He eventually finished though and stood back up to leave, but not before retrieving his knife and finally removing the blade from his own chest and plunging it directly into the heart of his would-be mugger. Satisfied for the night, the vampire began to make his way back to the castle where he would be staying, somewhat interested in what his quarters would be like.

By the way, around what country are we in right now? I figured we're somewhere in Europe, but I don't know quite where...

That's fine. I haven't been posting, but I am following the storyline. Just planning what Mel's going to do.
i guess i'll start the next night then. I think it's been long enough.

It was around 4 pm. when Alex finally left his house and went to the bookstore. He quite enjoyed the afternoon, everything was already moving, the sun had gone past it's peak and was headed down, and he didn't have to worry about vampires attacking, plus he could better prepare himself for when they did, get all of the kinks out. The only thing he hated about it was how hot it could be, especially when he wore his darker suits, like his ashened grey one that he wore today.

Running over the taxes, Alex reminiced on the dealings of last night. He still wasn't sure of what the vampires would do today but he knew he had to sit back and let them get cocky, something that still urked him. He felt that they had cowered from their enemy for long enough, that waiting and planning would only cost them more lives, and that they had suffered their enemies presence in this world long enough. They should have launched a crusade long ago, before he was even born, and wiped these leeches from the face of the earth already, but they hadn't and now it fell onto the younger generation's shoulders to do the deed. The only one holding them back was William but hopefully he would see reason soon enough...in the meanwhile He'd sit like a good subject and play by the kings rules.

He hadn't realized how much time he had wasted in that store, the sun was going down when he left.

"Well, the start of a new nights here. Let's see what it brings...", he said, walking off to blow off some steam and maybe get something to eat.

Stretching, Curtis rose from where he'd been sleeping in at the old den site. Looking through a window he saw that the sun was setting, and that he'd slept most of the day. Well fuck me he thought, rummaging through the kitchen looking for anything to eat, I guess I was more tired than I thought.

The only thing resembling food he'd found was a bottle of beer, which he drank readily. Before leaving to find a more satisfying meal, he made his preparation for dealing with the body of the fallen brother, and denying the vampires of anything useful at the den.

Working quickly, he piled as many flammable materials as he could find in the common area. Once he'd done that he laid the body on top and soaked the whole thing in gas from a jerry can. Pouring a fuse trail to the door, he grabbed a lighter, and threw the jerry can on to the funeral pyre.

"Hunt well little brother; May your eyes be sharp, your ears keen, and your feet swift."

With that he touched off the gas trail, and departed into the evening. Now he thought, I think I'll grab my coat from the court and then go for a meal. Moving back towards the city, he listened to the fire rapidly consume the former den site.

Vincent woke up, and looked around, acutely aware of the still-unfamiliar surroundings. He poured himself a scotch to wake up, draining it before heading out to the hallway, wondering whether the queen would be giving them any instructions today. Coming to last night's briefing room, he stopped short, and doubled back, deciding to pick up some Moet to kill time until the others arrived - and to share.

bobmaster, is the queen giving us daily orders, or what?

This must be the first time in a long time I've woken up without someone next to me... Catherine slinked out of bed in a red lacy nightgown, deciding not to change. It's time to go hunting... She stepped out. The sun was already gone, but the sky was still a bit light. Silly wolves... The mess of vampire that was left smeared across the castle entrance had incinerated in the sun, and there was no sign that they had ever been there. I suppose the Queen has already heard of this. I doubt she'll get upset if I find out who did it...

After returning to the lycan court to retrieve his coat, Curtis went back to his apartment. Good to his word, the young runner who had brought him the summons had made sure everything was locked up and secured when he'd left. Grabing a quick meal of steak and another couple of beers he left again, this time by the front door, to go hunt for more vampires.

Walking the streets in human form, he wandered the neighborhood checking the wind for the scent of vampires. Nothing he thought, growing frustrated after much searching. I was hoping to find one close to home, thought it's probably better this way. After a few more sniffs to check to make sure he wasn't missing anything, he headed off towards the clubs district to see if he?d have any better luck. Hell even if I can't find any, I know at least one of the clubs is having a heavy metal night, so the music will at least be good.

Alexander wandered around, occasionally biting from the hamburger he had bought. He realized again that his nights were devoid of anything to really do. He could head for a night club but he wasn't really someone who hung out in that scene, and he'd rather not hang out at the stronghold so he settled for the park instead, besides, there could be vmpires there to hunt.

Walking down the street and into town, Catherine realized that she fit right in with the night crowd. All of the women seemed to be wearing more or less the same thing. Some 20 or 30 years ago, this would never fly. Even the whores wore more than this. The city was the closest thing to neutral territory for miles. Neutral as in both sides were in a stalemate fighting over it. Hopefully tonight is not one of those nights where the whole pack goes joyhunting... then again... Her silver blades glinted in the moonlight, fair warning to anyone, wolf or human, that she was not to be fucked with. ...Messed with.

Curtis moved slowly down the street, humming to himself as he walked. So far his luck hadn't been too good, as none of the club where playing any music he liked and still had yet to find any vampires. As he rounded a corner the scent hit him. Shit there's one close by, gotta be at least a century old. He tensed himself for a transformation and attack, then realized his heart wasn't really in it. He wanted a bit of fun, not a fight.

Maintaining a human form, he slipped into a nearby alley made his way to the roof tops, from there tracking was pretty easy. Minutes later he spotted her moving confidently down the street. From the way she moved, that total confidence and power, Curtis figured he'd of seen her for what she was even without the scent. One predator does recognize another when they see them he thought, and the glinting of sliver blades didn't hurt either.

Smiling at his own stupidity, Curtis dashed past her on the roof tops and dropped into the shadows at street level. Stepping into the light, he lent against a nearby storefront and waited. Once she was close enough to him, but still far enough away for safety's sake, he spoke up. "Hello my dear, what lovely eyes you have. Perhaps you'd care to join me for a bite to eat, or perhaps a drink?" As he waited, smiling, he mind raged at him.JESUS FUCKING CHRIST MAN! YOU'RE GONNA GET YOURSELF KILLED!

If you want to fight, I fiugre we could go a few rounds before one of us bails, or Catherine could join Curtis for a drink. I'll leave it up to you :)

She knew there was a wolf following her. In her opinion, they smelled stronger than vampires. If they haven't attacked yet, I must be in luck~ She looked around, making sure that there was only one.

"Hello my dear, what lovely eyes you have. Perhaps you'd care to join me for a bite to eat, or perhaps a drink?"

Catherine grinned, showing her fangs. "Do you use that line on all the girls?" she purred, tracing his chin as she walked by.

Well she didn't attack me outright, so that's a start he thought as he fell into step beside her, keeping an eye on the blade as he did. "Only once before with one such as yourself, but she was far less hospitable" Curtis replied, "and what may I ask is your name? Mine is Curtis Franks."

"Curtis Frrranks..." she tested the name on her tongue. "You aren't very old are you?" she swung her hips with every step, her braid swishing against her back. "A drink does sound delightful right now..." She slowed down a little, walking closer to Curtis. Just like a lycan... unsophisticated. Brutish. Rough. Carnal. She licked her lips. "Catherine de Leon. Charmed~"

As the night wore on, Ernst straightened up from the drained body of homeless man he had come across. He has slept well back at the castle in the room that had been given to him and as the sun has set, he had set out again. Though the man did not give much of a fight, he had chased him through the alleyways, playing a game of cat and mouse with his terrified prey. After he had enough fun he had finally killed the man and drank his blood. Now that he had drank his fill, Ernst merely stalked through the streets, looking for any opportunity he could for more excitement.
