You need to add something extra, at the moment it just seems like some sort of amateur web comic, put into a flash animation. Theme music was awesome though. I reccomend watching some of the similar style shows and finding out what makes them funny. Feels very cliche, as if someone had just gone on TV tropes and put some characters from there into a flash animattion. It has potential, and I could see myself watching it, IF you made it funnier. Although it's not really my style of humour at the moment, and I'm not asking you to change it. If some people genuinely find that sort of thing funny, by all means carry on. I didn't even smile though. Also, I don't get why they are dogs...... with boobs?

Bear in mind I found Unforgotten realms boring and I felt it was a bad rip-off of 8-bit theatre.
Im totally offended by this post and came very close to permanent banning you. I mean the NERVE of suggestion that I used Flash to create the animation.

SHEESH!

Slapstick doesn't make good foundations for a series. Thumbs down sorry
If slapstick isn't your thing, give next week's episode a chance. More situational, less deadly. :)

This was a rather in-the-middle thing for me, I didn't hate it but I'm not all the way behind it yet. I think what needs to be done is character development, because I can see these dogs having clear personalities already but they've yet to come out, as it were.
And just out of curiosity... where/why are they working? Or am I not supposed to know that?

Being a D&D player and dungeon-master I award the entire cast and crew 150XP!

Nice pilot episode! Good Job.

I have to ask, do you animate first and voice act second? It seems like so, because everybody followied their lines so stiffly. Additionally, it sounded like the people weren't even really talking to each other, did you record the dialog individually?

It just seems like if there was some comedic ad-libbing it would help the script and be less rough to watch.

Also, the animation -- not art direction, animation -- was pretty much identical to what I can remember of apocalypse lane. Mix it up guys.

Y'all did get me, however, to laugh once. Nice.

How about Chapstick? Does that do anything for ya?

Crapstick? LapStick? PapStick(ladies only)?, CrapsStick(if you work in a casino)

Your right, slapstick is a bad foundation for a series. Just look at The Three Stooges, Bugs Bunny, Tom & Jerry, The Marx Brothers, Charlie Chaplin, Benny Hill, Buster Keaton, Laurel & Hardy, Mel Brooks, Rowan Atkinson, The Young Ones, Jackie Gleason, Abbot & Castello, Tex Avery, Itchy&Scratchy, Ed, Edd & Eddy, MST3K, Victor Borge, Lucille Ball, SNL, Steve Martin, Martin Short, The Muppets, Fraggle Rock, Harvey Birdman, The Venture Bros., Jerry Lewis, Harold Lloyd, Daffy Duck, Peter Sellers, Jim Carey, Punch & Judy, Cheech & Chong, Robin Williams, Monty Python, Who's Line is it Anyways, Bottom, Wallace & Gromit, Jackie Chan, The Naked Gun, Airplane, Ren & Stimpy, Adam Sandler, Goofy, Family Guy, Simpsons, Mork & Mindy, Lavern & Shirly, Balls of Fury, Home Alone, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Chris Farley, Second City, SCTV, Little Rascals, National Lampoon, Farrelly Bros., Pixar, some would even say the U.S. Congress or the U.K. Parliment, etc.

All of them COMPLETELY never went anywhere! (eye roll)

But Im sure you just over looked them. That what I love about ya! Its your attention to detail!

:)

Do people who say this happen to remember the Looney Toons?
Bunch of animal-based humanoid characters, some of whom often wore clothes. Since when did all animated animals with human personalities fall under the furry catagory?

I'm giving it one more week. It wasn't that good, but it wasn't bad enough that it made me want to gouge my own eyes out either.

Like I said, I'll give it one more week. Maybe two. I've followed worse stuff til it got good. Look at Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.

Worth the wait, made me laugh, not just the first time but when I watched it a second time too, I like it. I'll gladly watch it amongst my other favs; Zero Puncuation, Unskippable, Apocalypse Lane, and ENN.

I got a few snickers out of me, but what really bothered me was the animation. It seemed like every two seconds the character would move forward, move back, move forward, move back, and it really distracted me.

Beyond that I can't say, it's too early to tell.

Definitely something I'll give a chance! Pilot episodes aren't usually as good as the real episodes, so go ahead and post some more! I can already tell this is gonna be a good show!

It doesn't seem to be a laugh-out-loud show as some people have pointed out, but I found it fun to watch and the characters I think have potential. Wouldn't be surprised if it grows on me : )

Let me first commend you guys for coming out with new content. Considering everything here is free, you guys deserve credit for taking time on these extras.

The being said, there's always room for improvement. The problem as I see it, aside from the animation (which is understandably limited) is how the subject matter is being handled. The setup is that these characters work at a video game company, but the very first episode gives us nothing of that. These dogs might as well have been roommates in a basement for all we've seen. I'm not saying that the characters can't have a D&D episode, just that it might be better to use the pilot as a way of introducing us to the company and more of the characters. Ideally we could see them working on a game concept or something. That gives you an opportunity to poke fun at video game cliches while simultaneously revealing the characters through how they try to solve the problem.

Granted, that's just a vague shot in the dark, but the idea is to start with a broader stroke, set the tone of the comedy, give the characters a problem to solve and boom, you have a pilot. Then you can go on to other subjects and issues unique to a gaming company. You can have the "violent game" episode, an episode where "casual" gaming is the issue... if I sat and brainstormed I'm sure there could be a lot of great setups. Anyway, the point is to come up with pointed narrative first, something with a direction, and let the comedy flow from that. A first-episode D&D game has no stakes. Make us care about the characters before we watch them play a board game.

And for animation, I'd have to agree with coldfrog, keep the back and forth to a minimum and consider making the facial animation a little more involved.
