Call of Duty. (That's the FIRST Call of Duty, not Modern Warfare 1).
Ending was predictable as hell. "The Russians win".
Probably because thats how history played out...

Theres a reason why you dont remember it all that well.

I despised Modern Warfare 2's ending. When the credits came up, I literally shouted out "Are you fucking kidding me?!?", because I wasn't expecting another Halo 2 ending. Also, are we really supposed to believe: Soap will survive that stab wound? Really? I mean he was stabbed in the stomach, I'm not sure that just closing it up would help the damaged internal organs. Actually, that whole ending sequence made almost no sense, a general of the US Army sets up his own mercenary army and runs off with them, and NOBODY notices? I mean, the first game was kinda unrealistic, but it pretended it was real, and didn't go to too ridiculous bounds. The second, felt like a damn James Bond movie, what with the snowmobiles and huge cliff jumps.
Its funny when people complain about a game being realistic. If you want realistic, maybe you should go outside.
Did you not notice that the guys (ie Task Force 141) in MW2 weren't average soldiers? The whole point of having them do things that aren't realistic is because they aren't average. How interesting would your game be if everyone in the game talked about how skilled your character and the organization he is in is, but all your missions are just walks in the park and are nothing special? Average missions that you could sent new recruits on.
Seems to take away from the notion that you're an elite soldier if you arent doing what most people would consider suicide missions, don't you think?
Its also your own fault that you didnt understand the ending sequence, not the game's.
