Definitely the conclusion of Borderlands, or lack thereof.

Retarded 12 year old kids on XBox Live playing Halo

The fight system in FFXII. Why squeenix? Why?
Yeah, how dare you make something fun! How dare you make something similar to the old system while also removing some of the repetitive crap we were doing on auto-pilot anyway!? WHY!!???
How do you completely revamp the system to make the game more like mmo's for no reason. how dare you take one of the last bastions for fun turn based strategy and replace it with something all together meh. Also not impressed with the story or most of the characters.

The laughing scene in FFX. That made my skin crawl and balls retract.
This, except the balls thing.
Lucky you, it wasn't a pleasant feeling.
I'd think so. But it was so cringeworthy that it's not even funny anymore and it literally makes me want to shift my skin about from the crawling it most likely did. That's why I typically mute that scene.
I mean there are a few games with embaressing scenes, MGS3 when Snake is talking enthusiasticly about a gun, most dialog in EDF 2017 but that laughing scene takes the piss. I'm sorry but I think that is the first time I've ever walked out on a cutscene, I mean I watched it the first time but for subsequent playthroughs just no.
I think the same thing. I do the same thing whenever that scene comes on, I'd rather just go make a sandwich or something than watch that. I mean, I'd seriously rather sit through all of Metal Gear's cutscenes than watch that piss.
What were they thinking? I understand they were trying to produce a scene to make Tidus and Yuna closer whist dealing with the sadness and troubles of Spira, but it just turned into a complete mess. I mean I have been less embaressed when someone walked in when I watching porn, than if someone caught me watching that scene.
Who knows what they were thinking? I know exactly how you feel and I feel the same. Y'know all that snow on Mt. Gagazet? I think that's the clouds of leftover cocaine that fueled that script writing sequence.
XD I understand they were forcing themselves to laugh to get over all their emo but it was just done really badly, I think the voice actors must of been on the cocaine to record that and then think "Yeah that sounds alright."
I so totally agree with that. It's one of those scenes that makes you go "What, what was that?! Am I missing something?". And, y'know, I'd be looking at them funny too.

The ending to Borderlands, the huge monster coming out. I swear i called it too knowing it was being too hyped up about the vault i knew it would be some prison to keep something out. but i didn't expect it to be so bad. Really one of the worst endings ever.

Facepalm to that writer.
wow, you're so nice for spoiling the ending of the game I've been staying up until 5 to make time to play in between my job and my school work for weeks... thank you for putting a spoiler warning so I know not to read.

The Nod ending for C&C4. I wont spoil it, there is a vid of it on youtube, all 3mins and 21 secs of it. They promised it would wrap up the C&C story, they lied.

In Oblivion on a mages guild quest. I was sent to see what happened to a group on battlemages in a ruin whereupon I found the only survivor of the group who explained I needed to follow him. He ran ahead and got killed by a boobytrap ten seconds later. :D

"It's quiet..."

"I've got a bad feeling about this"

Twists (not spoilers if you don't know the game, and really, they've been out long enough):
You're Revan
The Agency set up the Gangs to create a fear-based government
Girlfriend ends up being double-agent (x 1 billion)

Too real for you huh? Yup some people just can't handle it.

One time my DS got hit hard and the game popped out while it was still on so I had to start back at the last save (which really wasnt that far but still)

End of Assassin's Creed 2. Need I say more?
It'd be nice if you did.
Yeah the bit where there's a hologram underneath Rome for some reason. Yeah, sure, it's cool, but it's also like.... really?

Any moments in any game that made you do a *FACE PALM*
Playing the PS3 Turok demo and also watching the promo videos for Rogue Warrior... That... christ, why on earth was that game ever made?

Golden Sun 2: Meeting Isaac
Why: Because I realized that there was either one of two things going on. This was how I acted in the first game, the chibi graphics were just making me think he was a good person. Or the writers gave the silent protagonist the wrong personality.

Later, I turned out to like this scene since I took it as the former and realized that more games with silent protagonists could possibly do this.

Is it all that big a deal? The game's fun, the story's god-awfully predictable and the characters are as likeable as a clump of clay. After the 2nd playthrough also, it's kind of pointless to play it anymore. There are far better games and considering there's barely any story, I don't know why it matters that he spoiled it.
I had the ending for Mass Effect II spoiled for me, without expecting it to happen. The guy just blurted it out on the forums and I got suspended for flaming him. How do you think I felt?

Just Bayonetta. *shudders*
Ah, Super Nanny in Bondage. Good call. Yes, it was rather bad. I loved devil may cry, but the demo for Bayonetta made me cringe, and the music... oh god... i'm having flashbacks!

In Dead Rising I watched a Survivor accidentally beat his compatriot to death with a baseball bat. The victim was at max health. It took quite a while.

Anytime Sora, Donald, and Goofy figured anything out in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Well, that's what happens when you flame...? Just 'cause you felt bad that one time doesn't mean I'm not allowed to this time... I'm just saying, it'd be nice to have a spoiler warning. Other people on this thread have done it, I don't see the problem with wanting it for this too. It matters that he spoiled it because I wanted to actually play the game to find how it ends, not have it thrown at me when I'm barely halfway through. That's not really fair.

Well... sorry, but if you're staying up all night to play an offline mmo with a story that's about as surprising as turning a rock and seeing the other side of the rock, then that's more your fault then Odd's.

I mean really... learn that spoilers are sometimes given and you don't need to cry over it.

Oh, I also face-palmed countless times through out the Metal Gear Solid 4 game, just because of how bad the writing felt.

I hadn't even started playing the game when I had ME2 ruined for me. Did anything happen to him? No, absolutely nothing. No-one gave a crap that I'd had my most anticipated game of the year ruined before I had even started playing it, and the mods just punished me for being angry at him.
