christ where to start, okay sonic up till the 3rd (just couldn't get in to S&K), 3D just ain't his friend

FF I&II cant stand all the bull now (bunch of damn he/she's)

resident evil4 killed that series for me, with out the "oh shit need ammo" factor its
just another shooter

mortal kombat4 and up just not good ...3D claims another one

soul calibur4, i just miss my ninja from 3 to much

and i'll end with mega man, don't get me wrong i LOVE the mega man series even 7&8 but after
the X series it went a little off corse, so 9 and the up coming 10 are the greatest things to happen in gameing to me in the past 10years or so

anyway i'll end it here (just to many others to keep going)

I, like a few others, can't say I hate Final Fantasy Games now, but definitely don't like them as much. I've played 6-10-2, but i never finished 12 because i didn't like the combat. I miss turn-based! FF13 i will probably get and to give it a chance but if i can't get thru that, i'm probably done with them. ...sadface...

i am with you. Never liked Spyro after year of the dragon
I remember the first time I played a Spyro game for the PS2. I was so young, so naive, completely unaware that the game series, my favorite of all time I might add, switched developers and in the process turned to crap. That was the day that my innocence died; I was so excited for a game that was destined to failure... *sobbing*

Seriously, though, that was, and is, my favorite game series of all time up through YOTD. After that, when Insomniac sold it, it just wasn't the same.
Oh well that's life I guess. At least we have the fond memories though right?

Crash Bandicoot.

Crash was at it's best with gameplay and comedy in "Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity" but Naughty Dog handed the series to Sierra. "Jacking" on and off monsters to beat up hoards of enemies to progress to the next big brawl is just bad gameplay. Also the writing, voice actors and new art design for crash is just terrible.

Best way to describe this game is comparing it to Sonic Unleashed. Yes! It's that bad.

If any of you out there like the Ratchet and Clank or the Jak & Daxter series, give Crash Bandicoot Twinsanity a try.

Minor correction on that note- I don't think they gave it away, I believe that Universal took the licensing away from Insomniac(Spyro) and Naughty Dog(Crash Bandicoot) and both of those series were taken over by Vivendi and then completely robbed of what made these franchises good. Fortunately, both companies kept making games and working together as eveidenced by the Jak and Daxter series and Ratchet & Clank series and the cross-advertising and such.

Anything made by rare used to be awesome but is now utter crap... such a shame

Most of the series I love today are stemmed by love of them in my childhood.

The 3d sonic games are fun for the speed parts but the other crap can go die

and crash bandicoot... you'll be missed...

Hmm...none really.

Pokemon's gotten better every game...

Sonic looks back on track, and I had SOME fun with Unleashed.

Hmm...Maybe 2D Zelda. Because the top down DS ones suck compared to the old top down ones.

Call of duty, Final Fantasy right after 7 came out i was losing hope but right after 10 came out i lost whatever hope i had left... Dragon Quest i love it still but it seems they really dont improve that much at ALL throughout there games.. Its still my go to traditional JRPG tho.. Devil May Cry.. I love it when i was a kid and didn't know better and all i cared about where cool flying battles and crap but now i see it for what it really is... Pong... It has been done SO MANY TIMES that they sucked all the fun out of it.. Tetris is getting there also. Tetris still remains fun to me tho (BUT FOR HOW LONG?). Castlevania i liked symphony of the night and thats about it the original side scroller ones on the Nes and Snes were "good" but just not really my thing.. and the new ones just suck balls.. Halo i liked it at first but then the fanboys ruined it and i never liked it again.. Blue Dragon it just suuuuuuuuucks now... Dragon Ball Z games i used to love them like Tenkaichi and stuff but all the new games are so boring.. And they always change the damn fighting controls so i have to RE LEARN HOW TO PLAY THE DAMN THING! Mario Bros games... I liked SMB3 and NSMB and thats it the rest i didnt like all that much EVEN PAPER MARIO I DIDNT LIKE.. Even tho everyone says its the most awesome sauce evar!

Oh, I can think of a couple. Final Fantasy-ish, I lost faith in XI and XII, but XIII kind of redeems the series, but in general Square Enix seems to lost direction with their games. Actually, that brings me swiftly on to the second game series I lost faith in... Secret of Mana. Enough said.

If you can include them as a "series", the Forgotten Realms (Dungeons and Dragons) games is another "series" I lost faith in. Baldur's Gate I and II, plus their expansion packs were amazing, but then rolled on Neverwinter Nights (which, in all seriousness, is my least favourite Bioware game ever) and then the sequel which, whilst a slight improvement in my opinion, was made by Obsidian who... well, let's just say they're not quite as talented as Bioware.

Oh and Bomberman. Do I really need to explain though?

Oh yeah, and anything by Rare. Banjo-Kazooie for example.

Fallout 3

Loved the first three games (Fallout, Fallout 2 and even Fallout:Tactics), but not anymore. Maybe the new game can change that.

Yeah, I'm gonna have to go with Final Fantasy as well... I guess the only one I really loved was FF III (I obstinately refuse to call it VI), but I also enjoyed II (again, not calling it IV), VII, and VIII. I never could get into IX, and I eventually only played X for the blitzball since I hated most of the characters and didn't care about the story. Haven't played one since.

Final Fantasy. The moment I got into the temple, I basically gave up on XIII. Let the flaming begin!

Metal Gear Solid. I had all the games, and then one day I just... woke up, I guess.

I used to love Halo, all of them. They were my first M-rated games, and my parents bought me the second one only because the guy with the demo was smart enough to play a level on legendary that began with lots of Flood (no blood from the little ones, he was dead in 15 seconds). I played 3 at my friend's house (I have no 360), but, after about a year and a half from its release, it lost its magic, as did 2. The original Halo I can still pick up every once in awhile, but it isn't what it used to be.

Sonic comes to mind, I really loved the old games but the new ones suck. I have even been playing the original games lately and it just makes me even more sad that Sonic Team doesn't know how to make good games anymore.
