game series you hate but used to love

However, I don't think Insomniac would have survived unless they sold it to EA or whoever bought it.

COD, I used to like it. But after like half a year after CoD 4 came out and all the people at my school got it, they wouldn't SHUT HE FUCK UP ABOUT IT! it got worse after MW2 and now literally every day I hear "I got a Chopper gunner" "I got my 27th nuke" and during Guidance class we had to explain something and we had to listen, then one of the kids just starts going on about CoD as loud as possible for 10 minutes straight. I like to talk about game's a lot, but ill vary a lot, Ill talk about Zelda then the next day talk about L4D but I just talk games in general . that's part of my story on why Xbox and CooD made my generation of kids Short,gay and ugly. ( Im not like that because I play badass games on gamecube and N64)

Another thing is that like 70% of kids who played sports stoped playing after CoD 5 came out and only like 3-4 kids still play which is just sad.

Also...Sonic. Hell I even liked Sonic 3D but recently...

Banjo Kazooie. Nuts 'n Bolts wasn't anything like it's predecessors. It barely felt like the chaacters involved had to be them. I'd be willing to forgive if they made a REAL Banjo-Threeie, though. Like the trailer implied.

Certainly this as well. I loved the original and even quite liked Banjo-Tooie but Nuts 'n Bolts seemed...weird. Like a spin-off tv show trying to be the original. Didn't sit well with me.

I would not say I hate Final Fantasy, but it is the closest thing I can think of that in somewhat relevant. Looking forward to the next installment was like a ritual for me. I even enjoyed FFX, and the amount of play I put into Tactics Advance is ridiculous. Then FFXI came out as an MMORPG and they lost me. I have not played a new Final Fantasy since.

Crash Bandicoot... Crash Bash and after was no where near as good as Crash 1-3 and CTR... although Twinsanity wasn't bad but far too frustrating but seeing Cortex cross dress at the start was golden xD

Sonic... After Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast it all fell apart for our favourite blue Hedgehog

Anything after the first X-Com game in the series, the first game was what I'd consider perhaps my favourite game of all time, but they lost the plot with the series after that, not clearing up stuff that needed fixing, or ditching the settings and plot that make the awesome in the first place.

mmm the FF series, I liked 7 of course, everyone did, but now I can not stand JRPGs with their turn based combat and lack of actual role play...
