My brother is partially color blind and can't see Red and Green. Sure it hinders his ability to play, but he's never complained about it and he still plays his favorite games despite it.
Its more like because the vast majority of PC gamers didn't get what they wanted so one super special person should.Knight Templar said:So because some people didn't get what they want nobody should?
Don't be a dick.
But there's light blue and dark blue and light gay blue and dark gay blue...IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!Tdc2182 said:Think of it as a gay blue.
mm you might want to read one of the other articles on the Escapist on the costs of games development and reconsider calling IW "greedy"DTWolfwood said:I have Red/Green color blindness but its not like we can distinguish between the 2. Its just tuff to see the difference in purple/blue and yellow/green. It totally sux balls when they make the indicators yellow and light green >.<
But this certainly a reasonable request. a tiny code patch to change the color isnt hard. But knowing how greedy IW has become its probably not "cost effective" to cater to 10% of the gamer populations. <.< (yes im a PC, and this is out of spite! XD)
Think about it, you are saying one group should not get a function they ask for that would improve the game for everybody, because another group didn't get something that they demanded and would only have improved the game for them?matrix3509 said:Its more like because the vast majority of PC gamers didn't get what they wanted so one super special person should.Knight Templar said:So because some people didn't get what they want nobody should?

I don't see how I'm the one being the phallic symbol here. Suddenly I'm an ass because I'm for not treating anybody special. If I'm wrong please point me to the nearest habitable planet so I don't have to be right.
Explaining color is by far the hardest thing to explain in this worldUnholykrumpet said:But there's light blue and dark blue and light gay blue and dark gay blue...IT JUST DOESN'T MAKE ANY SENSE!Tdc2182 said:Think of it as a gay blue.
Paying attention to what's going on around you!? Sheer lunacy!CAW4 said:Now hear me out on this one; what if they looked at what team they're on. I know, it's something completely new to a lot of players, but it's not like the teams look alike.

It sounds reasonable and I can't imagine it impossible to change.
How is a feature used to help color blind people going to improve the game for everybody? I'm going to venture a guess that the simple addition of what PC gamers were demanding would have resulted in a massive sales increase on the PC platform.Knight Templar said:Think about it, you are saying one group should not get a function they ask for that would improve the game for everybody, because another group didn't get something that they demanded and would only have improved the game for them?matrix3509 said:Its more like because the vast majority of PC gamers didn't get what they wanted so one super special person should.Knight Templar said:So because some people didn't get what they want nobody should?

Shouldn't you be happy that some people are getting what they wanted, not demanding that if one person is unhappy they all should be?
If you insist on using this messed up logic and can't see how flawed it is then there's nothing to talk about here.
Then the colourblind players shouldn't have bought the game either, simple as that. Your position seems rather inconsistent.nilcypher said:Nope, not happy at all, which is why, and this is the important part, I didn't give them my money. If you bought the game, you legitimised their behaviour, simple as that.
No, it really isn't, you've just chosen to interpret it that way.Evil Tim said:Then the colourblind players shouldn't have bought the game either, simple as that. O i've read it. it cost them about $50 million to make the game. which anyone not living under a rock the pass 2 years will know they will recoup day one. the other costs comes from Activision and their ridiculous $200mil advertising, which paid in spades. The fact it will at most cost them an extra mil or two to add proper support to one platform, which in hindsight they could have charged $60 still, and double if not triple their sales on that side. GREEDY is the proper term sir if not a bit juvenile.duchaked said:mm you might want to read one of the other articles on the Escapist on the costs of games development and reconsider calling IW "greedy"DTWolfwood said:I have Red/Green color blindness but its not like we can distinguish between the 2. (tho I can't say much in terms of Microsoft games studios haha)
but no, this petition is indeed reasonable and IMO worthy of taking time to sign and hope for something to come out of it =)
Well, this is Jube from Tobias and Jube. It's a side-webcomic from the creator of Raymondo Person. Jube is also a character in that webcomic.Sci-Fi luver437 said:Ninja'd damitMr. Grey said:I shall sign this.

Saying that without clarifying what the correct interpretation of your position is doesn't really help me out any. Your opinion appears to be:nilcypher said:No, it really isn't, you've just chosen to interpret it that way.
