Halo 3. Dammit, there's barely any blood in the game, barely any cursing, and most of the weapons look like children's toys.
And there's the first scene where the big daddy pounces a guy against the wall and drills him :SDannyboy1186 said:Bioshock probably since it might have "A reference" to drug use either that or the poeple are insane. No nudity or violence here. (I think)
But imagine how many more kids would be on xbox live! The extra with parents who pay attention to the rating system! We would have more madness!HardRockSamurai said:Halo 3. Dammit, there's barely any blood in the game, barely any cursing, and most of the weapons look like children's toys.
That last thing might be why it is actually rated M though if you think about it.HardRockSamurai said:Halo 3. Dammit, there's barely any blood in the game, barely any cursing, and most of the weapons look like children's toys.
I disagree... then entire series doesn't deserve the M rating... never understood why it was rated M... Jet Force Gemini was more violent then that...Jezzascmezza said:Halo 3
They were threatening ME with an AO rating at one point for the sex scene.PedroSteckecilo said:Bioshock definately deserves an M-Rating, it's very disturbing, scary and horrific even if its not gory.
Halo and Mass Effect however are pretty standard space opera stuff with less objectionable content than you'd see in most TV shows. Even the controversial Sex Scene in Mass Effect is pretty damn tame, I suppose it's the Homosexual Content that really garners it a M-Rating.
Not to mention the kids cheering when you brutally beat a pinata with a shovel.Conveant0 said:Not one which is least deserving, but Viva Pinata should have a 17+ / M rating, just because of the cannibalism, brutal violence with gardening tools and incest.
Speaking as someone who owns Fallout 3 and TF2, I feel that Bioshock is the most disturbing game I've ever played. Even if the violence isn't really "graphic," the context is so dark and brutal that I think it would warrant an M rating even without the constant swearing and sexual themes.Dannyboy1186 said:Bioshock probably since it might have "A reference" to drug use either that or the poeple are insane. Ok to everyone who quoted me, Bioshock is obviously deserving of its M-18 ranking. I just thought it not as bad as other games.Speaking as someone who owns Fallout 3 and TF2, I feel that Bioshock is the most disturbing game I've ever played. Oh, and also you can kill kids.
it's probably the painkillers that got the 18.Mezzamine said:Personally, I think Left 4 Dead should be a 15 rather than an 18, but that's just me.
Yeah. Shooting limbs of countless zombies? Fine. Wanton arson? No Problem. Over the counter drugs? OH DEAR GOD.dekkarax said:it's probably the painkillers that got the 18.Mezzamine said:Personally, I think Left 4 Dead should be a 15 rather than an 18, but that's just me.
