Eternal Darkness, I loved it and I usually assume that no one here played it because it was a Gamecube exclusive.
DANG, I WANT THAT GAME, BUT GAMESTOP SOLD ME A SCRATCHED COPY!!

Also, no one that I've ever met plays Shin Megami Tensei games, The Club, Disgaea, Condemned 2, or Killer 7

The New Zealand Story. [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Zealand_Story]
That was one hell of a fun game, even if I was like five at the time.

Ah, Amiga 600.
I miss you so much.

I hate horror of any kind, but I'm working myself up to playing that game, actually.

As for games no one has played...Soulbringer. That game was awesome.
What platform was Soulbringer on?
It's an ARPG for the PC.

I've seen complaints about the graphics, but I never thought they were that bad (slightly better than, say, Final Fantasy 8, and with motion-capture animation). The story wasn't too bad, the magic system was fun, and the melee combat was spectacular (the ranged combat sucked and blew more than a asthmatic elephant, but it was a minor aspect of the game in the first place).

No one else ever seems to have played Arx Fatalis and I think it's rather a shame, really. I truly think it is an epic game.
Arx Fatalis was incredible. Rumor has it a sequel is in the works, but we'll have to wait and see.

I kid you not, excellent game, kind of like Devil May Cry only more realistic.

Since IWBTG came up, I gotta brag a bit.

http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/IAmTheGuy.jpg, from http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DrLombriz. I AM THE GUY.

Back on topic, my first impression is no-one played Beyond Good And Evil, and for that should be punched, especially when I heard the trilogy got canceled due to lack of interested. WAIT it got uncanceled. So you guys better at least RENT it, please? First game was GOOD.

RAD aka Robot Alchemic Drive for the PS2

Basically the whole thing was sort of a tongue-in-cheek version of the B-movie Giant Robots vs. Alien invaders Japanese anime thing. The character artist was the same one from Cowboy Bebop I believe. The best part about the game though was the sense of scale. You control a human character who uses a remote control (which looks alot like a Playstation 2 controller conveniently) to control a 1 of 3 giant robots with different abilities (2 of which actually transform into a jet and a tank respectively). As you run through the city you actually feel like your in a b-movie (Complete with terrible english dubs) and the ground even shakes (or the camera actually) as your 50 foot robot dukes it out with a variety of different space monsters, oh and did I mention all of the buildings are completely destructible and you can stomp on pedestrians (granted there are like 4 or 5 pedestrian models but still...)
Man RAD was one of the most badass games I've ever played. Nobody understands how to play it, until you get good at it and then your a monster.

First Gauntlet Legends, Rag to Riches, and the First Zork all for the Commodore 64

Netstorm: Islands at War
A pretty old strategy game from Activision. Instead of units and armies you build stationary siege engines (and the occasional resource gatherer) with a certain arc of fire, so you constantly had to decide where to put your guns. You also had to prevent, by building bridges (wich was some kind of Tetris game), the enemy from reaching resource geisers and your own island, so they couldn't aim their guns at your buildings. A very intrueging and different game, and the only modern game my dad ever liked.

Good: Okami, XIII, Super Mario RPG (YAY), Advent Rising, Eternal Darkness

Bad: None immeadiately come to mind, except Red Steel *shudder*

WTF?: Kingdom of Loathing. Really, good luck with that one folks.
okami and XIII were quality. not played the other 3 you listed, but i might have a look at them as it appears you have taste. i also shudder at red steel. cant believe i paid £15 for that. thankfully it came with no more heroes.
