Since there is a game thread about games that made you cry, ive decided to make a thread about games [or a moment in a game] that scared the living crap out of you and flushed itself down the toilet.

For me It has to be Silent hill 2 and the moment you encounter pyrimid head, what with him being that weird creepy monster that rapes other weird crazy monsters.

Echo Night: Beyond is the one and only game that managed to get my heart pumping.

When I was really young, the intro to Majora's Mask(In which you first see the skull kid) scared the everloving crap out of me. I still have never played it, even though I own a working N64.

1. Going through Ravenholm my first time at age 14. Sitting in a room in a lake house I had never been to before, alone, at night.

2. Despite some negative comments I've seen about the game, Dead Space gave me some good scares, and I really felt tense going through a good portion of the game.

Yes, it was a disturbing scene.

Mine would be Silent Hill 3. That whole house museum freaked me out.

Me too, I'm kind of a sucker for those jump scares.

Ever played Doom 3? It's pretty much Jump Scare 3D Adventure.
What with you the fact that you have to almost always carry a flashlight around without duel wielding it with a pistol.

Yeah, but, I never finished it. Had fun with it though. I also played F.E.A.R and Condemned. But, Dead Space and Condemned were my favorite of the bunch. Jump scare wise.

When I finally...FINALLY reached the end of Star Fox 64 (i was young) and Andross came out of the green mist background with his big face laughing at my puny ship...I reset the 64.

Fallout 3. Strange I know, but there's something creepy about hearing giant scorpions of crazed robots footsteps behind you. The game itself is only midly scary, the DLCs have some freaky shit. Those abominations in MS:Zeta have a look that is strangely, eerily human, but something less, something...more. And Point Lookout? It's just...too quiet, I still can't play the Punga part at night.

Silent Hill 3 scared the piss out of me. SH2 was amazing story-wise, but to me, SH3 was way more terrifying.

Also, I'll admit, there were times in Dead Space where I wanted to curl up in a corner and suck my thumb. Say what you will about it, that game has the 'shock scare' down to an art.

Dont forget the dunwich building. And those mother f*cking molerats at night, both in real life and in game that come out of nowhere.
