Future Cop L.A.P.D...Was such an awesome game with relatively good Co-op parts...and then the Competitive mode was just an added bonus!

(I Destroy Sky Captain!)

I'd even settle for a sequel...Different City, upgraded Walker units, more weapons...and im sure the Next Gen would make all those bouncing mines and electric guns all the more awesome!

the original Spyro games (which was rebooted. And sucked)
damn, ninja'd! ive been replaying Spyro 1-3 after getting them on the Playstation store, and its bringing back memories of my childhood. Updated graphics and better camera (LET ME USE THE RIGHT STICK AS THE CAMERA DAMNIT!!!), but keeping the level layout and abilities for each level the same. Really, I'd be fine with the camera alone, but may as well update the graphics...

Half-Life 1 and the expansions should also get remade, hopefully the Black Mesa mod will satisfy me.

Yes I want fallout 1&2 too. I bought them recently but they have bad problems on modern PCs and the graphics do not scale up to 22 inch monitors in a flattering way. I wonder how much it would cost to have them updated?
There are some patches to get them working on newer systems, and I think even one that enables higher resolutions and a widescreen mode (unless I'm thinking of another game; it's been several months since I was looking at stuff like that when I went back to play them a year-ish ago). I got them running on mine, at least, but it still wasn't perfect, and some of the interface stuff is still kind of awkward when you're used to newer games that don't have to fit their menus and inventories and whatever into 640x480 and as little RAM as possible. They're playable, but it can take a bunch of fiddling around, especially if you want to use the patches/hacks, and I gave up eventually.

PLanescape: Torment (as you can tell from my avatar). I think that game was genius, and yet it's hard to play on new computers and can be occasionally buggy on them. A new remake (not a sequel mind you) would be very welcome.

Fallout 3 that is the glitchest game I have ever seen the fucking game crashes when I save and when I try to uninstall it it says it does not exist

Zelda Ocarina of time and Majoras Mask. Why? Because they were my favorite Zelda games. Well Majoras Mask was at least.
I think the OoT remake for the 3DS is in the works, not sure about Majora's mask but with any luck they'll remake that too
Tbh that should've been done around the time they did the cube ports but that's Nintendo for ya :p

I know the 3DS is looking good but it's still squint-o-vision compared to a console, would really like to see them done on the wii, but none of this crowbar in motion controls for the sake of it crap, classic controller and be done with it :p

My pick would be the old school RPG Darklands. One of the first RPGs with real time battles, based in real world Germany but with a fantasy bend.

Freelancer. It had a whole lot going for it, but was also missing so much. A remake (or a sequel for that matter) that restored it to something like the original vision (and made the side missions and trading less monotonous) could be really great.

I miss space combat sims, I really do.

I hate to be "that guy" but I'd love to see the original Halo redone. I'm talking about not changing a single thing except the graphics and polishing it up a bit. That game was great for its time, and I still find it to be an entertaining shoot-em-up. It would just be nice to see it with that next-gen shine (no, not bloom).

Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines.
It is already a fucking amazing game but due to problems and Activision rushing them it came out extremely flawed.
Still, the story and atmosphere are so friggin good and puts even Bioware to shame.
It's not quite the same as a remake, but the fan patches have done a pretty good job of fixing the rough edges (even if Tessmage threw a hissy fit and took his offline for a while.) A remake *could* be awesome, but there are a lot of ways it could go wrong. Loads of the content was pretty edgy (like the seriously freaky relationship between the Voermann "sisters" and their father, the biblical references, the hot girl you can turn into your slave...) and a studio big enough to give it the budget it deserved might shy away from some of the "mature" elements that made it so good in the first place.
