A game like the original ones, but in the same 3d most rpg's these days use. I mean, the technology is there. Skyrim and the like prove a game of that scale can be made, with stunning (stylistic/cartoony) graphics. I bet it would be wildly popular as well. Yet it hadn't been made yet.
Weren't Colosseum [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Colosseum] and XD: Gale of Darkness [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_XD:_Gale_of_Darkness] on the Gamecube basically this? Or maybe I'm misreading something, but I remember them being 3D and on console while staying along the lines of the original handheld ones. Although, it has been years since I played them, and I don't remember much, so I might be mistaken.Andy Shandy said:I'm surprised Nintendo/Game Freak/HAL Laboratory haven't made a Pokemon game on the console in like the handheld games. It would make a metric fuckton of money.
OT: I second a sequel to Metal Arms and a new Timesplitters. Those games were too awesome to NOT get continued in some way.
