I'm surprised Nintendo didn't make a 3d pokemon game yet. No, not the sub games of being a photographer or mystery dungeon or whatever. A game like the original ones, but in the same 3d most rpg's these days use. I mean, the technology is there. Skyrim and the like prove a game of that scale can be made, with stunning (stylistic/cartoony) graphics. I bet it would be wildly popular as well. Yet it hadn't been made yet.

I'm surprised Nintendo/Game Freak/HAL Laboratory haven't made a Pokemon game on the console in like the handheld games. It would make a metric fuckton of money.
Weren't Colosseum [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_Colosseum] and XD: Gale of Darkness [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pok%C3%A9mon_XD:_Gale_of_Darkness] on the Gamecube basically this? Or maybe I'm misreading something, but I remember them being 3D and on console while staying along the lines of the original handheld ones. Although, it has been years since I played them, and I don't remember much, so I might be mistaken.

OT: I second a sequel to Metal Arms and a new Timesplitters. Those games were too awesome to NOT get continued in some way.

An Exalted based RPG. While I'd prefer to be able to play as an Infernal, I'd gladly take a Solar or hell DB based one. Just the chance to have adventures in Creation would easily be worth the money.

Secondary pretty much any other franchise from White Wolf, though these would probably be better served if done in a similar vein as Vampire: The Masquerade: Bloodlines.

I feel it must be said again... Baldur's gate 3!

Also a new Breath of fire, preferably one that takes it back to it's origins before 4 (Though that,s just preference, I know many peoples favourites were 4)

A new Vampire: The Masquerade game, seriously? The entire Vampire world is brilliant and with vampires being such a BIG though these days it would be foolish not to reshow the world this gem

A completely upto date Transport Tycoon game

Another Dark cloud/Chronicles game.

The Elder Scrolls: Total War. I got the idea while playing Oblivion, and I found a book that mentioned Nords sieging cities by shouting the gates to pieces. There is a lot of potential for that game, considering the constant wars between the provinces.

Instead of the Mongols attacking after a certain amount of turns, the Oblivion crisis could happen. Your campaign for the domination of Nirn will need to be put on hold to fight off the armies of Mehrunes Dagon.

While fighting in Morrowind, ash storms could move in, making ranged combat ineffective.

Most breeds of Khajiit can be used at some point. The Senche-raht would be intimidating on the battle field.

A Batman: Brave and the Bold-type game that has the darkened tone and seriousness of Arkham City and Asylum. One moment, Batman is fighting Mr. Freeze with the help of Hal Jordan, then the next he is stopping Darkseid's plot to conquer Earth with the help of Batmen from alternate dimensions (brought forth by Bat-mite). Hell, just give me a game with Darkseid as the villain and you playing as Batman.

A game based on Air Gear, in which people use motorized skates to race, battle, and freaking fly. I mean, come on! How has that not been made a game yet?
In the site's review I heard of air gear being kind of a Jet Set Radio rip-off, not my words. It;s the tagging feature but with less focus on actual air treks/ATs.

Like the SURPRISNGLY free to play Tribes Ascend? Yeah. GO have fun.
I have but I hate playing shooters with a keyboard and mouse. The mouse is WAY to sensitive. Does it support gamepads because if it does i am getting a wired xbox controller.
1: This thread is about games that HAVEN'T been made. Not about games that have been, just not on the platform you like.

2: Mouse...too...sensitive? Wtf? You can change the sensitivity you know. And with a mouse you can get SO much more precision with aiming and the like...
Umm ,am I detecting some PC Elitism. I'd hate to bate but he hasn't really asked for too much like the other post. Besides most games do feature an option for a gamepad so it's worth looking it up.

OT: I'm with Z of Na'vi for the next metal arms!

I want them to create a MMO set in the Dresden Files universe. Where you can play as several different Races/Classes like pure human, wizard, vampire (at least the white court), ect. Get to travel all through out the world as well as travel to different plains of existence, and be able to interact with all the different characters of the series universe.

Angelic Layer. The anime/manga seemed like the perfect set-up for a video game, rather sad that it didn't get one.
didnt think much of it but looking back why the heck did they not do that I man they have made games basied on other clamp manga (cardcaptor saukra) why not the one that would be an easy set up?

personally I am surprised no one has ever attempted to cash in on all the players clambering for a pokemon MMO I mean you would think some korian company like nexon or something would make a fakeamon one..

archaeology puzzle or sim type game
there are a few paleontology battle games like fossil fighters why has no one made a game where you hunt dig up and restore relics with maybe some tomb expolation thrown in?
(I suppose one could count doctor lauric but its closer to ghostbusters/layton then archaeology)

a sim/adventure where you play as a non-cartoony dragon.. you know pillage villages and kidnap princesses and the such

Superhero sandbox game with multiple branching paths based on morality and past morality, as measured on multiple axes.
You have, for example, the Hero/Villain Axis and the Technical Pacifist/Psychopath axis Hero/villain is modified only by set points in the story, wherein the pacifist/psychopath axis modifies based on your play-style - use a lot of non-lethal attacks and arrest criminals? You move towards "Pacifist". Decide to "Screw morality, I have guns!", you move towards "Psychopath".
Act 1 will always be the same, with two different "end of act" missions based on your Hero/Villain alignment, and will progress towards act II when you have achieved 75% saturation of either psychopath or Pacifist.
This gives way to four possible Act IIs, which all play uniquely. When moving to Act II, your Karma meters "reset", and similar conditions to the Act -II cross over must be met to achieve act III, for a possible of 16 total Act IIIs.

Muscle in a Magick/Technology axis a la Arcanum, grab a good writing team, and offer a Mass Effect-length campaign (All three acts together).
Enjoy your GOTY.

Also a Pokemon game that contains all the current regions.
I love you..

OT: Pretty much what X said. Would be great as the first 3DS Pokémon game. I'd probably buy one just for that.

Apologies if it's been said already but,

A first person Pokemon game where you have every region to explore and rather than pokemon remaining static in battles, you actually get battlefields to fight on where you losr control of the player character and rather control your pokemon, with buttons on the controller corresponding to the 4 main attacks, jumping, dodging, sprinting, etc. It would be amazing to have that level of control over your pokemon. It could make 2/3 pokemon battles difficult, but I still think it would be incredible.

A reboot, mod or just something where you can play as the other gangs from Saint's Row 2. They were all a million times more interesting than the Saints, plus had better colours. Hell, if that was Saint's Row 3, I might be interested in buying it.

Sid Meier's Pirates! comes pretty close to that. No sea monsters, no personal pirate haven, and ship customization is limited to upgrading ships (as in, you can't build a new one from the ground up, just upgrade an existing design), but otherwise it's what you want. It's a great game, and it's something like $10 on Impulse[footnote]Steam might have it too, I just know Impulse has it because I bought it there when it went on sale for Christmas[/footnote].
