"Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing" is supposed to be pretty awful.

Also, Final Fantasy X:2 was stupid. About 20 minutes into it I decided to go buy some Barbie dolls and some evil looking action figures, line both sets up facing each other, and light some of them on fire. That was more fun than the actual game.
Haha, I actually quite like FFX-2 but that really is awesome. I may have to steal that quote agaist some of my friends

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World. I played 2 hours into this game only to get so pissed at the plot and characters my friends and I have sworn off it and had to promptly play the first Tales of Symphonia to erase the bad memories. It's so bad I have one friend who denies its very existence. That game is my new standard for bad games.
I AM SO HAPPY. I didnt buy it, the first game was one of the best game I ever played... the sequel... when they anounced it, I was happy but when I found out the main characters arent even the same, I was like "WTF!" Perfectly good characters that they could have built so much more on and they decided to not use them as the main characters of the sequel.

I almost puked when a guy on this forum said it was a worthwhile game on the wii.
I personally loved the crap out of Dawn of the NEw World. Been meaning to replay it, btu I've got so much other stuff to play... But yeah, me and my friend both really loved it, easily the best RPG I've played on my Wii, and one of the better ones of this generation. Abotu the only thing I didn't like was Lloyd's voice change...
I don't know about that. Not being able to use the classic controller spelled epic fail to me. Besides, there's also Tales of Graces or the Wii version of Phantom Brave (and also Oboro Muramasa if that counts to you) as candidates for best rpg. Also, I hear sakura taisen's out now. I wouldn't know, my wii is japanese so I can't play it.

Well, to my knowledge, Tales of Graces isn't available in USA yet, I've never played Sakura Taisen, as it looks too much to a dating sim to me... Oboro Muramasa is Muramasa: The Demon Blade, right? Can't say I've played it either, as I'm waiting for a price drop, but isn't that mroe of a sidescroller than an RPG? The only RPGs I've played on Wii are Dawn of the New World, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, and Valhalla Knights: Eldar Saga. I didn't mind the lack of CC support, as I don't recall motion use being used often...

I was talking about the 360 game, thus the list because you can see games a person has played over live (I don't think you can do that for the wii). However, if the 360 version is anything to go by the wii version shouldn't be too much better.
Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers, has, IIRC, been hailed as one of the best hack-n-slash titles on Wii, with very responsive controls, with nice graphics and a nice selection of characters, totaling 4, with each having 2 very different styles of fighting. I'll happily take it over Madworld atm. The absolute lowest score by GameFAQs user reviews is 5, topping out at 8. Also doesn't hurt that it came out for about $30 brand new upon launch. Also, I admit not knowing what PHantom Bave is, I'm Wikipedia-ing now.

Its kinda old but LUNAR:DRAGON SONG
Quite possibility one of the worst games i have ever played.
i bought it...then went back a couple of days later and sold it.\
i only got about $3 for it but i didn't care, i just wanted to get rid of it.
Good, I wasn't the only person who considers that piece of shit to be the worst they have ever played...

The combat is the worst I've ever seen in an RPG, the leveling system was horrible, the plot was incredibly convoluted, every attempt to make money was an annoying collection quest, and characters would drop in and out of your party every five minutes and take all of their equipment with them.

Bottom line,
NEVER BUY LUNAR:DS
Tell me about it, making money was a pain, and it didn't help that everything in the game was so damn expensive.
even the lowest form of healing Items, Gum, cost several missions worth of money.
As for the characters..interesting designs but absolutely nothing to them.
Its either attack, of if you can, use your ONE special skill.
(only the pink haired chick and the green haired girl could learn more than one skill)
The main character could only attack!
That's it!
I heard he was supposed to learn some powerful skills later on but i didnt keep the game for very long.

Agreed.
I mean i dont know what the developers were smoking when they made the game.
Making you choose between EXP and Items?
you couldn't even choose your target in battle.
I could go on but, id like to forget that game ever existed.
I was going to go with Haze as one of the most terrible games of all time, but this Lunar: Dragon Song sounds like it could possibly be worse. Even from hearing about it I'm looking back on Haze fondly, and Haze is the sort of game that you look upon with nothing but contempt. How old was this heap of shit that you couldn't even pick targets? I loaded up Phantasy Star II the other day and I could pick the enemy to attack.
It actually came out not to long after the first DS came out.
The creator(i believe it was him) of Lunar said not choosing a target would make the combat smoother...yea.
It only made it worse as your character would proceed to focus on one enemy...then stop and attack another.
Another hit or two would of taken it out but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
It made every fight, especially boss fight with more than one opponent really frustrating.
It got even worse when the opponents could heal each other...

Well, I suppose he has a point. It would have been smoother without the extra second or so it takes to select an enemy. I don't really understand why you would need smoothness in a turn based battle though. It's not as if the enemy will attack you while you decide to use attack or special skill.

True but being able to choose your target makes it easier and lets you strategize better in my opinion.
I would of never made it in FF3 or Dragon Quest Monsters:Joker if i wasn't able to choose.

Evidently I'm far too tired to be snide or sarcastic at the moment.

To clarify, I find turn-based games to be awesome. What I was trying to say was that 'smoothness' is entirely pointless in the battle system of a turn-based game. Removing the ability to choose which enemy to attack and relegating the characters to wannabe heroes (seriously, only one attack and one special skill?) makes a game suck.

Hehe sorry.
Im not good with online sarcasm.
and yep, the skill count was low.
the main hero could only attack but, his attack did have 3 hit to it.
The main healer did learn more than one skill but there wasn't very many and you didnt heve her long enough to make use of them.
Two other characters could attack and had one special skill but that was it they couldent learn any more.

No one should ever buy any game that is on this list.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_video_games_notable_for_negative_reception
Although while looking at this list, I will admit that even though Action 52 had absolutely no good games in thier bundle, at least Cheetahmen 2 had a very good theme song despite the gameplay being a load of crap. Here's the song if anyone wants to listen to it.

Daikatana.

BEGONE, SATAN!
oh come on, Dikatana was actually relatively fun. Then again anythings fun relative to FF13.(which should be on the list, hint hint)
anything is fun relative to ANY final fantasy. the only people who like the games play it because it's anime, and will hate you if you say it is a horrible game (which it is)

Maybe it's some form of super-advanced social commentary on the current state of the world where manly men (the hero) are turning into overly aggressive savages that only know how to do one thing good; beat shit up?
/sarcasm

All in all, that game sounds incredibly bad.

How can a game called 'White Men Can't Jump' be bad? The sheer awesome inherent in the name alone transcends any bad qualities the game may have.

Brutal Legend. I think I played it twice since Christmas. That was more than enough.

He could stand on his head for a looooooong ass time.

I looked it up on wikipedia to see how bad it was received. Holy crap one of the reviewers described its battle system as "comfortably the worst in 20 years of RPGs".
