Kabuki Warriors, if you can, look up Game Informer's review of it. It's pretty horrible.

Two Worlds. Every character occasionally forgets what time period they're in and start talking in modern english. Come on, that's just pathetic.

Call Of Duty 3.
The people who think MW2 stinks have probably never played it...
I actually bought this just last week, and so far am having a blast with it. And yes, I do prefer it to MW2.

black and white 2. Kill it with fire, dump the ashes in the desert than nuke it from orbit. The only way to be sure.
Hey. Black and White 2 was awesome.

As far as a recent game that you should not buy?

I agree with other posters ... do not buy FF XIII.

Two Worlds. I regret wasting those moneys one it.
It looked ever so promising, but it was really just a shiny pile of shit.

Every game ever made.

In all seriousness, I can't actually suggest one except maybe the Sims.
Playing a game where you control some avatars life is a bit pointless to me.
That was one of mine!

OT: Half-life 2. All episodes.

You should never, ever pay for Half-Life: Blue Shift. It was the most disappointing expansion pack ever made.

Oh, and the Brotherhood of Steel DLC for Fallout 3 IS worth buying.

Its actually a recent one:

Dantes Inferno.

I know people say its a bad game, but its not really, its just not worth 60 dollars when you can spend about 7 to rent it and beat it in 7 hours.

Chaos Legion. Final Fantasy XII (13 is ok, but this is absolute crap). Chaos Legion. Mirror's Edge (Unless it's for $20 or so). Chaos Legion. Duke Nukem Forever. Chaos Legion. Most movie liscened games. Chaos Legion. Silent Hill 1 (it's not that it's bad. It's just not aged well and not worth losing the nostalgia you once had). Chaos Legion. Killzone 2 (it is highly overratted). Chaos Legion. Any game in a trilogy that you know will be released in a 3 pack. Chaos Legion. Legend of the Dragoon (spend your time instead demanding via email/letters/hostages/etc. that it be remade in current gen graphics). Chaos Legion. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World (take a game that has been finished up beautifully in a 60 hour story that truely ended. Now kill it, take a dump on the corpse and everything it stood for, and make it parade around town to ruin the lives of everyone it ever touched in its life before dropping it on its own grave. That is what this game does to Tale of Symphonia). But most of all Chaos Legion.

I'm sure I'll most likely incur the wrath of the gods by putting these here, but I'm not trolling I swear. I severely hate all these games...
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Mass Effect II (One was just great, pity about the sequel).
Halo 3 (before you flame me, I loved the first one, wasn't a fan of the second, and I do own a 360).

Way of The Samurai 2, a game that promised so much I even ignored all the bad reviews to buy and play it.

Those reviews weren't for nothing.

The idea of wandering the land as a ronin, dispensing samurai-style justice as you go is massively appealing. However, rather than the sprawling open-world RPG fun I was hoping for, I got an ugly, linear piece of crap with wooden combat and uninspired missions given to you by random townspeople. I got to about the third mission in, and got bogged down trying to capture some guys idiot son... a task hardly befitting a samurai. Terrible game. I hear there's a sequel now, though I don't know anyone who's played it.

despite what its sales records suggest, don't buy MW2.
one of 2 things will happen:
!) it'll make you rage with the power of a thousand suns
?) You'll try to become good at it and slowly lose grip with reality/society.
GAAAH! I knew somebody would say this! The truth is, it's a fun game, but people like to criticize popular things. It's not the second coming of videogame Jesus or anything, but it's good, so shut up.

OT: Never buy Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon for the original xbox. My sister bought it one day because she likes karate and thought it would be good. She has this uncanny ability to pick out the worst games in any given group.

Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
It's like they took the stylus up the hoo hoo, you don't hardly ever use the buttons. As the gamer I am, I've never had a hand cramp until playing that piece of crap. Holding a small pen and moving it around a screen to simulate actions is not any fun when it is used to the degree they used it. It's like they were all promised larges sum´s of cash to worsen game design to include gimmicks.

Okay, I can understand FFXII -edit- wasN'T (I meant to say WASN'T)-edit- perfect, granted, but it wasn't awful.
As bad as the story was, Balthier, Fran, the game settings (the world), sidequests, battle system and optional bosses (marks) made it worth playing.
Mirrors edge was great fun but deifnately not worth more than $20 (I got it for $4 on pc).
Seriously though... Legend of Dragoon? You didn't like it because it's only on PSone?
Your only complaint with the game is it's graphics? That doesn't mean you should never buy it. It's an extremely original, imaginative and quite deep, immersive RPG with a great story, great characters and a simply awesome battle system.
Whoever reads this, ignore what he has said about Legend of Dragoon. It seems he only really cares about graphics in a game.

Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World. I played 2 hours into this game only to get so pissed at the plot and characters my friends and I have sworn off it and had to promptly play the first Tales of Symphonia to erase the bad memories. It's so bad I have one friend who denies its very existence. That game is my new standard for bad games.

The controls were awful and while it was different and Original, I got up to the last time you have to go through the Temple of the Ocean king and just couldn't be fucked. I will never finish that game and I couldn't agree more with you.
Needless to say I will not be suckered in to buy Spirit tracks.
