i remember on the snes there was this game similar to contra but it wasnt contra, in it you played a red armored guy and if you played co op i beleive you were blue and red. anyway, on the first level you can drive a tank and the end boss was this skeletal snake/dino head that shot laser beams on 3 levels and you had to either jump or go down a level to avoid them. i also remember there were hoverboard levels, i never beat it but i loved that game SO much as a kid
Doesn't happen to be probotector does it?

There was a game really annoying me, but I've completely forgotten what it was now. Sure some memory of it will come back to me at some point soon...

I vaguely remember an old 3D platformer for the PS1. It was a lot like Spyro, you were a red(I think) dragon that resembled Yoshi and I think you collected diamonds. Other than that I have no idea.

I have ONE game i cannot remember the name of, but it was incredibly old (8 years ago?) and you controlled a tank, it was set in the kinda future, cos i remember...lasers and the like. I only played the demo, but it was quite hard, and it was a snow level. Thats all i remember :(
Sounds a bit like BattleTanx for the Nintendo 64.

I was thinking about one I used to play when I was younger. The main character was a boy I think with only shorts on and hair like one of those little troll dolls. He didn't talk, just used to go "glargglebargle" randomly. I remember sliding down some ramp, climbing up to the top of some house then going across the rope to a pile of leave, you could used to hide in them and jump out. That's all I remember. I miss it /:

Does anyone know a game for the PC like tron?
It was a 3D deathmatch style game set in a large multi room arena with different coloured bikes, each with different stats. The part I remember best was when, after some time had past, a blue wall of energy slowly closed in to the centre of the arena's ending the game. It looked like tron but the images I get when I search are not the same. Anyone have any ideas?

Some game I used to play with my neighbour on his Nintendo 64 when I was little. I can remember next to nothing about it, but I remember I loved it like hell. It was a fighting game somewhat similar to Unreal Tournament I think, but that's all I can remember. That and that it was 3D, like Unreal, not pixelly and 2D like the old Mortal Kombats. I can vaguely remember a few images and a few things that make my mind tick, but nothing I can describe.
I'll probably recognise the name if someone mentions it. Although this is probably nowhere near specific enough to suggest something. It was a long time ago, man!

It's nostalgic when I remember it, even though I don't remember anything about it. Heheh.

Oh! I do remember two! I hope someone can help me find them again, because I do seem to remember they were a lot of fun.

The first one was this dinosaur game, for the PS1, where you control a little dinosaur (can't remember if it was scrolling sidewards or not, and you would run around eating smaller dinosaurs, and trying to avoid being eaten or shot by humans... Anyone ever played it?

(Also, if it is such an easy title to remember, like "Jurassic Park " I'll laugh)

The other one I was thinking of was this game on a handheld console, can't remember which, but I am quite certain it was not a gameboy, and you would control a dinosaur (again, with the large reptiles) or another monster thing (possibly a bear) and fight each other on a platform...

If you remember either, would you mind telling me the name and where to find it?
That second one sounds like Primal Rage. But it could have been a Godzilla game too.

Was the first one like a platformer or was it top down?
It does look like it... It might have been, actually. Thanks! :)

I do believe it was top down. Does that sound like a game you might recognize?

Hah! I found it! The game is The Lost World: Jurassic Park for the PS1. I still want to play it, though I never got past the velociraptor part.

That would be Armagetron, we played over the LAN on all the camp computers... so fun. Sounds exactly like it.

As for the first page poster about the boy with the bubble gun thing fighting monsters, I remember having something like that for the PS1, it was one word... maybe N-something?

You were like a Wizard guy or atleast you wore wizard robe. The very first part of the game i think is getting the robes which is in a house which is locked. and when you get the robes it's like the game starts. You are on an island i think or atleast close to the sea my memory goes blank here. I think you find a way of there and end up in the desert some how. I remember clearly though that you had this buggy which you could drive around in. I also mind that there was this room that was like all stars around you and no floor i got stuck there i think.

It was a demo I played on the PC, we're talking well over 10-15 years ago here. It was in 3D and it was set in like a Japanese village surrounded by water (if you went too far into the water you'd drown), your character was male, wearing a blue floor-length tunic and you had like a little black ponytail coming off the top of your head.
That's easy: Little Big Adventure 2: Twinsen's Odyssey.

Maybe it was Master of Orion [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Master_of_Orion]? Or Star Control [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Control]?
Master of Orion Looked promising, but no it wasn't that. Good try though!
Could it be Ascendancy [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ascendancy_%28video_game%29]? It definitely had wormholes and blocking them and ohmygoditshuge 3d tech tree.
