It was on the PS2 or maybe the PS1 where you had guns on cars and you drove round trying to destroy each others cars.
Anyone know anything about that?

A ps1 game...I think it had the word 'red' in the title...and numbers...

I am pretty sure it involved an alien invasion or something similar and you played as a cyborg? All I remember is I hired it from Blockbuster and got about 3/4 of the way through (ah back in the day when you didn't have omg twists every 2 seconds)then never found it again....

That was a great game. Wish I could remember it.
C-12 Final Resistance?

Okay, I only played the first few missions, so Forgive my lack of complete description...

A PC RTS game, base building, resource acquisition...

There were I believe only 2 races...there may of been more further in game... One Race was a very Technologicaly superior race, which I believe in the Campaign, they were Dark blue and the main unit wielded long laser rifles, and thats All I can remember...

The other race was a more militia looking force, Naturally coloured brown I believe, One significant thing i remember, is the Scout vehicle for that race has a woman's dialogue, including phrases like ''Locked n loaded, Yea Baby?'' and presumably others...

I honestly cant think of anything else so my apologies, but any names or further info would be of substantial help!

It was a game for PS1, and you fought in arenas. One of the characters had buzz-saws for hands, and could set them up as traps around the map, they would pile in stacks of 3.

Anyone who can remember this, please give me the name of the game. I will love you forever.

I know the information is sparse, but it's all I can remember.

Okay, this is gonna be tough, because I remember like three things from this game.

1) It was an old, OLD PC point-and-click adventure game. Like, REALLY old, all sprites and really simple, pixelated backgrounds. I saw it at least ten years ago when I visited my cousin's for a family reunion.
2) I think the game was set in a labyrinth or some kind of maze, because I remember my cousin approaching a certain treasure chest, but it was a dead end, and every time she went that way, a minotaur would come out and kill the character.
3) When the character did die, you saw him walking along a dark path with a bunch of faces in the sky.

That is all I can remember about this game. It fuckin bugs me, cause I just don't know what the hell it could be. I do also remember being scared out of my fuckin head of the minotaur. I was, like, 10 at the time, leave me alone. >>

OH! I just remembered another game that... I can't remember... uh, yeah.

This one was a strange side-scrolling shooter that my brother had on the handful of Linux-based computers he had.
1) It had very simple graphics also, all sprite based.
2) In it, you could play as a Marine that used a machine gun; a small boy that basically sucked; the Lego-based robotic creation of the boy that had a chainsaw mounted to the front; an alien that kicked everyone's ass because it killed on contact, climbed walls, jumped really far, and just destroyed everything; as well as other characters I don't remember.
3) It had pick ups like Doppelganger, which made a copy of yourself that fought for you; a chainsaw that killed just about anything that touched it pretty much immediately; and, uh, other guns I think...
4) I THINK it was called something like "xkill". Don't quote me on that though.

Well, yeah. Any thoughts? Anyone?! These partial memories drive me crazy! :D

Alright, I didn't play it that much, but I still enjoyed what I did play/see and I always wanted to play it again.
It was a PS2 game, third person, it may have been an RPG [or a third person shooter, I truly can't remember.] It had to have been by a Japanese company, that I'm sure of.
I remember one of the bosses was a big man with a giant hammer [that I think you gain after or during the battle] and this boss fight took place in a gray mountainous area with labyrinthine walls. There was also another level where you enter an airship and it has a stealth part and the level becomes purple and a bit isometric.
I know this game exists! I remember an old friend brought it over [along with his massive PS2 game collection, a lot of obscure titles].
So if anyone could help me, I would be eternally grateful.

In the mid 90's I played a sidescrolling beat-em up with mythological creatures, inspired by greek/roman/european mythos. You weilded a badass sword and the whole shebang. It was also pretty hard.

But there was a twist. Not only is it a sidescroller, but it has a Sim City/Civ section where you help restore the kingdoms and uncover dungeons and help the people clear the land and defend them from monsters (sometimes they kidnap people).

I cannot remember the name, at all, please, halp :(

Edit: It was for the Super Nintendo.
Try Actraiser.

Edit: DOH, I'm behind, someone already answered (facepalm)

it was a game on the NES where for the first stage your in a spachip going right shooting stuff on what looks like a surface of a space station. and for the 2nd stage your in the space station walking around and in the space station you go past what look like 3 space thwomps (the falling things from mario). and at the end of the 2nd stage you shoot at a big red fireball that won't do anything and it will blow up. the 3rd stage is you back in your spaceship going right again shooting at space snowflakes on the surface of a space station. the 4th stage puts you back in a spacestation where you fight a clone of yourself...thats all i remember though, i played the game when i was 3.

I remember nearly everything I've ever played, except for one stupid game. It was an arcade shooter similar to Commando, only when you killed a bad guy he farted, I kid you not. Best two quarters I'd ever spent because it was so unexpected and so hilarious that I just stood there killing them and laughed so hard I nearly threw up.

That's all I remember. The game sucked, the graphics looked 8bit and washed out, and enemy soldiers farted when they died.
