Alan Wake. Contrary to what most people seem to think about this game, I thought it was really boring and I never got around to completing it.

F.E.A.R. 2

I loved the first one, but the sequel left me feeling terribly unsatisfied. It was more of the same, but it just didn't seem to work as well as the first.

Dante's Inferno. All that hype. And when I got to play it the only reason I finished it was because I felt I had to find SOMETHING redeeming about this game. But no, I never found ANYTHING good about it. It was God of War with a terrible story and lackluster enemies and level design. I would've liked it as a budget title though if Beatrice WASN'T FUCKING THE DEVIL! The whole queen of hell thing really ticked me off, and Beatrice got with the devil willingly to get back with Dante. She was supposed to be incorruptible according to the book, but here she's way out of character. Lust, wrath, and heresy in one body, SCREWING the DEVIL and choosing to become the QUEEN OF HELL to GET BACK AT DANTE!!! I liked Dante's quest of redemption to face all the sins he committed in physical form. I hated how the enemies didn't stay in their circle. Lust should've had nothing but lust monsters, greed should've had nothing but greed monsters, etc. And this is a minor annoyance, a nitpick really, but humans don't become demons in Christian lore, evil angels do. And humans do not become angels. They become ghosts. Until they get resurrected.

I promptly sold this game as soon as I beat it. I won't be playing this game again unless I decide to review it.

Half Life 2. It mystifies me as to how this game has become so popular. I loved the first game but Half-Life 2, to me, was just a bog standard FPS with bad combat, an uniteresting location, repetitive enemies and a gimmicky weapon (guess which one I'm talking about).

Bioshock 2 was just puke on a platter. Total waste of my time.

I spent alot of time playing Modern Warfare 2 then once my gold membership expired I realised that I hadn't enjoyed any of it.

Assassins Creed 2. I spent so much time getting hyped up for it and it just wasn't any good. When the best part of a sandbox game were you play as an assassin is a silly sims city minigame then somethings gone wrong.

Command and Conquer - Theater of War.C&C1, RA1, C&C Tiberian Sun, RA2, 8 cds.... I still don't know where my second RA2 disc went to.... 100 bucks.

Couple of years later? Command and Conquer - The first decade comes out. Same price, all of the above games... and the Covert Ops expansion for C&C1, the expansions for RA1, pretty sure it had Firestorm for Tib Sun, and it had Yuri's revenge.. AND Generals and Zero hour expansion... SO MUCH more game... and it was all on DVD. I still feel gypped about buying Theater of War, enough that I didn't buy First Decade.

MechWarrior 4 - Clan 'Mech Pak - 30 bucks for 4 new 'Mechs, 4-5 new weapons... and a few new maps. None of which was usable in the single player campaign, and it all got released for free a few years later by the guys at MekTek. HNNGHHHH.
Dude... I don't know where you live, but C&C: The First Decade was released at 20?, and the MW4 packs at 15? each.

I think you got ripped off.

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest, some games are really expensive here in New Zealand.

I got the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. bundle off Steam, NZD$15 for CoP and SoC... I'm pretty sure CoP is $70 dollars in a store here. I was looking around at popular new games... EB games America has Call of Duty Black Ops for USD$60, (about NZD$82) EB games NZ sells the same game for NZD$130, DSE sells it for $110. The Starcraft 2 prices were just as bad.

Time to get a credit card and never step foot in a retail store again (save to maybe buy really, really old games from the used/bargain bins).

Just recently... bought ModNation Racers for PS3... played it for maybe about 4 hours. Made a MOD, made a Kart, made a Track and raced the single player...

I think the best part was making the Kart and Mod... track editor was boring and your track is just gonna look like everyone else's. Didn't go online cause the racing wasn't fun single player why would it be online?

Returned (bought it used, sue me) it and got Heavy Rain. AMAZING GAME... but I beat it in one 6 hour sitting... Debating on returning it for something else (see, I'm working the system).

So ModNation was a disappointment and Heavy Rain was disappointingly short but worth it IMO.

Kayne and lynch, played it for literally 5 minutes before I realised I didn't care. I havnt touched it since.

Also borderlands, not that the game itself was that bad but it focused to much on multiplayer

I regret buying BioShock, actually. It was so hyped, but it just didn't hit my gaming G-spot like it did everyone else's I guess.

Prey - The game was pretty boring

Unreal Tournament 3 - Not as fun as I had hoped.

Bioshock 2 - That game was so riddled with bugs, I wanna strangle someone. That game could never live up to the first one.
