Bioshock, right after I kill Andrew Ryan (The game is like half a decade old and if you didn't know that by this point then you probably have more pressing concerns, such as your low oxygen tank). The last third of that game is just a complete mess, to be honest.
Friggin' ninjas.

This gets my vote. God knows I love BioShock, but the game ended when you jammed the business end of a 9-iron into Ryan's skull. I understand that the player will probably want Fontaine to get his comeuppance and all, but it didn't take another three entire levels and all the polystyrene that they were stuffed with to get that to happen. The Big Daddy twist in particular was one of the most superfluous things I've ever encountered in gaming.

Halo: CE. Love that game - until the Library. In fact, the Halo games in general are let down by the Flood. I think that's why I cut Reach so much slack, because it was simply Spartans vs Covenant, with no b*starding Flood to ruin it. Also, whenever I replay CoD4 I skip the gung-ho Ranger missions and only play the SAS ones. Just personal preference.

Uncharted and the Nazi base with the zombie things.

Uncharted 2 and the monastery bridge... and the monastery courtyard.

Uncharted 3 and pretty much every moderately difficult firefight in there because most of the time the ways you die are just downright cheap.

Jak 2 and the Erol race.

Jak 3 and any form of required interaction with any Wasteland vehicle other than the Sand Shark.

You know I'm sensing a recurring developer theme here.

What are some games you want play again until you remember "that one part" that's so bad it ruins the entire game?

For me, Metroid Prime 3 and the demolition trooper escort. The troopers have low health, do pitiful damage, don't hide, don't dodge, and enemies target them over the player. Also, when they die, they let out this creepy mechanical scream that's easily one of the most distressing moments in video game history.
I have played through Dragon Age Origins about 4 times and I want to do a 5th playthru. But, each time I dread the fade. I'm sure many agree.

Dragon Age: Origins, and the Fade segment. You know what I'm talking about.
Same here. I actually really like that game, but the awful pacing in the second act (two hours of running around learning everything there is to know about a place followed by five hours of uninterrupted combat grind), really keeps me from going back into it. The fade is by far the worst, the blur effect is cool for two minutes, after that it gets very annoying very quickly. And I hate saying that, because otherwise it's a damn good game.

Unlike most here, "that one part" in DA:O for me is not the Fade, but the Deep Roads.

Halo, 2 and, 3. They all have a couple of awesome levels which I could replay over and over but then The Flood emerge and makes the game into something that I just can't freaking stand. Screw the Flood.
Yeah, the level "Cortana" has to be my least favourite level in Halo 3. I'm playing through Halo Anniversary at the moment, and am really not looking forward to revisiting that hateful Library level.

Resistance 2's plantation house before the Mauler gets there. From before the fight starts, to taking the house and then defending the house against an incoming horde all in one checkpoint, and I'm not that good at the game. Always gets me a few times.

And Viewtiful Joe. "Hey I love this stylish combat, the awesome art style, the funny characters. I'm loving this game. What do you mean I have to fight five bosses in a row with no save point?"

The "Fade" section of Dragon Age: Origins. It takes FOREVER and it's just so boring.
Mods are your friend. There is a mod that lets you just plain skip the entire fade. You still get all the stuff you would get from playing the fade, like stat upgrades and groovy weapons, you just get to skip it.

Unless, of course you're playing it on a console.

Pretty much when you encounter the Regenerator part in Resident Evil 4. I can't stand their creepy sound!

Wind Waker - The triforce padding

Final Fantasy 13 - The two hour or so tutorial to start. I don't mind the linear focused gameplay, but it feels like all you do is select basic attacks for the first two hours.

Dragon Age: Origins. Two words: THE FADE!

And Fable 2, for the Spire section. Hated that damn section. Though it's easier on a full-on evil playthrough cause I don't care about getting gigantic gnarly scars all over me.

The whole spider part in dark messiah. Especially if you have a fear of spiders.
I don't even have a fear of spiders, but god damn do I agree with you. That bit drives me insane. I can't even remember why I hate it so much now, could be the poison attacks but I also think I had problems with hitting them in melee. :/

This. Haha, I spend like 10 minutes just standing there trying to decide, especially in the first 3 generation games.
