Not to open up old wounds, but how about Enter the Matrix? I saw the previews, and I got that niggling worry in the back of my head. I read the reviews, and still went against my better judgment. I put my $50 down (Ah, remember when games were that cheap?) and played half way through it. It was the first game I ever took back and sold within a week of buying it. I`m with Yahtzee on Darkest of Days. It sounds like a really cool concept if they had allowed for more than two battlefields and made it more flexible in terms of completing objectives.

Far Cry 2, that game had so much potential, and the only reason why istill have it is because of a few gigs worth of maps. Yeah im a map editor now get used to it.
I love that map editor. I always make flood maps.

I once made a jungle flood map.
I think we all made flood maps... all of us.
Yes,but have you made a desert jungle? Or a savannah desert?
Trust me, name a map that you think is original, i can bet you ive made it.
A pirate map.

Spore, although it WAS GOOD.
We were promised so much...

Fable and Fable 2.
Enough said.

I was really expecting more from Infamous as well. He's killed by puddles, he has to face down tramps, and he can't even fly well.
Well neither can Alex Mercer, or
more accurately, the virus that you play as
, but he makes up for it with everything else. Like kicking helicopters in the face, absorbing zombies and stealing thir power, hijacking tanks, picking fights with supersoldiers...
OK, inFamous, in retrospect, is crap.

And, I don't know, Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition?

The Force Unleashed, Iron Man, and the Spiderman games. Each was based on a solid story line, had good graphics, and a very kickass concept, but somehow, they all sucked. Iron Man was way too easy (as was to be expected) and the enemies in Spiderman and Force Unleashed were so fucking cheap.
Blah...

Also, Halo 3 made me want to cut myself. 2 was okay- not as good as 1, but that's usually how it goes for trilogies (in my own wrong opinion). I fully expected Halo 3 to blow me away like the first one did. I played through the campaign on the edge of my seat, saying "it's going to get better any second now..."

I gave up counting the seconds after 31,579,200 (do the math), because after four full playthroughs on each difficulty, the only good thing about the damn game was the voice acting.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Fable series yet.
I was waitinbg for someone to pick up on this, the first game was ok, butthe second was so outragously terrible i didn't even want to finish it, the characters were somehow even more annoying than before, and the world had none of its previous dark appeal. That was enough reason to hate it, but when it is combined with such a rubbish combat system aswell i think it was well within my rights to abbandon it to the absolute bottom of my game pile

Operation Flashpoint : Dragon Rising, its good but has MAHOOSIVE potential
Isn't that the extremely realistic military simulation? How is it, on realism grounds?

Assassin's Creed
Don't get me wrong though, I absolutely loved the game, just the missions kinda sucked, assassinations were awesome though.
yeah, I could certainly agree with that. that's why I'm so excided for assassin's creed II. Altair was such a bland guy, when I think about it, and Ezio sounds more of my type

O.T. I think that both Crackdown and Dead Rising, despite loving both of them, did just as many things wrong as right. Crappy saving structure for dead rising and the inability to move and shoot, and Crackdowns poor driving mechanics and repetative mission structure

Oblivion... such a damn shame.

I know it's an expansion pack, but can I have Soulstorm, too? I felt that could have been really, really awesome. But it wasn't.

The Temple of Elemental Evil had so much potential, too.

Ok, I'm done.

Any Naruto game, because I'm a great fan of Naruto but every game they've made has been pretty bad.
