As a standard to measure games by, graphics are sometimes viewed as an essential one and other times viewed as the least important or relevant to how good a game is. Regardless of your opinion on the issue, are there any games you would play/would play more of if they had better visuals?

Personally, I don't have a real example; however, if DA:O had better visuals and gameplay, I would never eject the disk.

No, I can't say I've felt like that. I'll play anything from Dwarf Fortress to Crysis.

I wouldn't play things more siimply for a visual improvement, but I play Fallout 3 a lot and it certainly wouldn't suffer from some better graphics and/or character animations.
You should try some of the graphics mods and other mods for that game. They make the game even more awesome

OT: I guess id play Oblivion alot more if it was slightly prettier. But there are mods to fix that so im not too bothered

Baldur's Gate. I've heard they're fantastic, but the control, gameplay, visual, everything are just going too far back for me to handle.
There's meant to be a fan-made remake in the form of a Dragon Age mod. If that happens I'll be very happy.

The Elder Scrolls: Arena and the first System Shock. The interfaces in both I find very irritating; Arena, for it's general awkwardness and SS because the interface is all over the screen. Arena has graphical glitches all over the place. I would've finished by now if my game hadn't bugged and stuck me with a permanent drain status that wouldn't let me go anywhere without killing me.

Diablo II, good thing is that the sequel will probably be the same thing but with better visuals :]

While I don't let graphics stop me from playing a game I like, some games I love would be even cooler with better graphics.

Dragon age would be even more awesome with better graphics.

Any games like Halo that drop the screen size to 4:3 when you play splitscreen would benefit from a graphics upgrade. I consider this to be a graphics issue.

Not so much graphics, but better animation and physics would make me much happier with MW2. The anims are both pre-rendered AND terrible.

As great as it was playing through it all those years ago, I don't think I could bring myself to play Soul Reaver again. The graphics are just too crappy, and Defiance has spoiled me with much tighter controls and a better combat system, making the combat in the original feel akin to practicing dance moves while immersed up to the neck in clay.

Hey, Crystal Dynamics! Tighten the combat on Soul Reaver and ramp up the graphics, and you've got a new remake guaranteed to sell! ... What's that? You've sold your souls to the Tomb Raider franchise? ... Goddammit.

I find it difficult to play Fallout 3 because the ps3 version has NO anti-aliasing.

Everything always looks jagged, and when you move about there are pixels flashing about everywhere. It gives me a headache trying to decipher whats happening sometimes.

Thats meant to be getting a single player part in the future aswell.

Personally, I'd quite like to see all of the Final Fantasy games with updated graphics.

Well, I would play Diablo II more (since I just bought it) but my computer takes about ten minutes for it to load... I have no idea why. I'll click start game and then nothing happens, but like 5-10 minutes later it starts up. Plus the graphics mess up a bit on mine... I don't know the problem, I can run L4D2 on high...

Graphics shouldn't matter to anyone.
They shouldn't, but they do. I know someone who wouldn't play Guitar Hero 4 over Rock Band 2 not because the tracklist or the gameplay but because the graphics were worse... in a Guitar Hero game where it doesn't matter a bit.
